Call today!! 719.219.1911 Description 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo From 1985 - 1991 the 944 Turbo, commonly known as the 951, was one of the fastest 4 cylinder engine production cars on the road. The 1989 - 1991 944 Turbo's were the most powerful versions with 250HP and 258 lb-ft of torque. This 1989 944 Turbo has been meticulously cared for by the previous owner(s) and is now being cared for and maintained by the Porsche Factory Trained Classic Technicians of Porsche Colorado Springs. The Guards Red paint shows like new with a clear mask installed on the front bumper and partial hood, fenders, mirrors, door edges, and quarter panels. The Black partial leather interior also shows like new with no wear marks on the front seats or handled surfaces such as the steering wheel and gear shifter. The 944 Turbo has been recently inspected and serviced by Master Porsche Classic Technician, Dave Petitti of Porsche Colorado Springs. The first owner is unknown. The second owner of the 944 Turbo lived in Phoenix, Arizona and was an active PCA concours judge in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. The second owner reported the car had been partially repainted prior to his ownership. The owner believed there was damage to the left rear quarter panel and that area of the car was repaired and repainted. A previous service record supplied by the second owner showed the 944 Turbo being serviced in June of 2012. The 2012 service included timing and balance shaft belts, idler pulleys and tensioners, replacement of fuel hose from rail to damper, replacement of fuel hoses from body to fuel rail, replacement of the A/C and Alternator belt, and replacement of the power steering belt. A copy of the service ticket from the service has been provided. Tires were replaced in March of 2013 and a clear mask was installed in 2013. The original receipt for the clear mask has been provided.Concours results provided by third owner - 2013 Colorado Concours: Fourth in Class, PCA Class Judging2014 Colorado Concours: First in Class, Full Concours Class Judging The fourth owner purchased the 944 Turbo in early 2016 and drove it very little. The third owner reports the car had chrome wheels during his ownership which have since been replaced or painted silver. The third owner also noted a COA and 2014 Concours winning ribbon was provided to the fourth owner, these items are currently being retrieved. (It has been noted an undocumented service may have been performed by Pikes Peak Racing in early to mid 2016. Nearly completely stock and original with 49k miles. No leaks, no cracked dash and in perfect mechanical condition. Has been owned by a Porsche tech for the past 10 years, meticulously maintained and clearly driven very little. Just had the A/C recharged last summer at the local dealer and a professional exterior detail done a week ago. Brand new battery. As clean and pristine as any out there. Lots of service records!There are some rock chips on the decals on the side skirts (these can be replaced), but otherwise the paint is flawless. A few minor repairs needed:-The sound system is aftermarket from the '80s and its junk, needs replaced. I have always preferred the sound of the car so never bothered to change it. -There is an o-ring on a coupling in the exhaust that is cracked and needs replaced so it rattles a little at idle. I am happy to include this repair before a buyer takes delivery. Certified funds only (I am not dumb, so no scammers). Delivery/pick up is the responsibility of the buyer.
