1987 Porsche 944 runs and drives. Needs new tires. Headlight turn on pops a fuse on the left headlight. May be a good vehicle for parts or repairs. Motor, tranny, differential in very good condition. Never wrecked. Garage kept. Has started recently and drove around the neighborhood a few times. Motor is A+. Drivers window is off the track. Motor was apparently rebuilt in 2000 in Tulsa, OK , and is recorded on vehicle title history. Title is free and clear. More pictures available upon request.

BagTurbo charged1987 Porsche 944 Turbo - We just bought this car from the long-term second owner, who bought the car from Motorcars Imports out of Bedford, Ohio in 1991 (note the Motorcars decal still in place on the rear valence). He was an ASE Master mechanic and did all maintenance himself. As a result, we do not have a stack of records that is commensurate with cars serviced at a dealer, but the condition of the car speaks for itself. In 2012 he did a full service including water pump and timing belt, and he documented that service with extensive photographs, as well as parts receipts. He even kept all the old parts in a box. This guy truly loved the car, and it's obvious. The car is all original paint as verified with a paintmeter, the ONLY exception being the front bumper and panel between the headlights, which is notorious on the 944 for attracting stone chips. It has never seen salty roads, winter, and probably never seen rain during his ownership, as he was fanatical. This car is very, very original, and is complete with two keys with factory leather pouches, the original option code sticker in the trunk, cargo covers, spare tire, jack, air compressor, complete tool kit and tool roll, and factory manuals with the maintenance book stamped properly. There are only a few minor modifications to the car, all done by the previous owner and noted in photos. He installed Boston Acoustic speakers in the front doors, as well as speakers in the rear trunk, which are easily removable and only impact the trunk mat. Original Blaupunkt Monterey head unit was retained. He also hardwired a radar system that is of course now outdated, but the level of craftsmanship is incredible. He installed mini toggle switches in the driver's air vent, perfectly hidden, and small warning lights in the gauge cluster. The windshield wipers are kind of cool in a ridiculous overkill sort of way - I've never seen double blade wipers before. Not even sure they've been used more than once or twice. The car also has Porsche badges installed on the front fender with adhesive - no holes drilled, and easy to remove should the new owner desire. Condition is excellent inside and out and underneath, as you can see in the photos. There are no cracks in the leather seats or in the dash. There is zero delamination on the rear window. None. The original calipers still have a good finish in the paint and lettering. All glass is original. The windshield could stand to be replaced if the new owner likes - there was a couple small cracks on the passenger side that the owner drilled and filled himself - the fix is proper but it of course doesn't look exceptionally pretty.The paint is very clean with only a few minor flaws that are pretty hard to find. The original stone guards are still on the car and they are cracking but those are a quick fix, readily available from Pelican Parts. The original underhood insulation is also present, and is of course coming apart, but most cars we see have long since had it completely scraped off, because they all do that. Overall, this is a car that stands above the rest in both condition and originality, and will please most any buyer, short of the guy trying to win the Porsche parade. For sale is a 1988 Porsche 944. The transmission is automatic and it is in need of a new water pump. The car runs and drives but is currently parked because it is need of water pump. I am a college student and do not have the resources or funds available to make this fix. I have had the car professionally diagnosed and the water pump is the only mechanical issue. The brake light is on on the dash, but that is for the rear brakes, as the front brakes were just replaced. Before the water pump went bad, the car drove like a charm. This car has new front brakes, a new alternator, new tires, a new AC compressor and condenser and an upgraded sound system. In the back are two 12 inch kicker comp subwoofers. This is a solid car and has been very reliable other than the water pump. The only things that do not work on this car are driver's exterior door handle, the passenger's electric side view mirror adjuster, the odometer and the fog lights. Currently the odometer reads 85,370 but it broke about two weeks before the water pump broke so the actual mileage is around 85,450. The body and interior of this car are solid aside from one scratch on the front drivers side of the car (visible in first photo), a cracked mirror under the passenger's sun visor and the back carpet, which needs to be either replaced or re-covered. This car has an upgraded exhaust as well as DVD player and cold AC. This would be a great car for someone who has the resources to fix it. Buyer is responsible for shipping.

1984 Porsche 944 in exceptional condition. I know everyone says it, but this car is a must-see. It looks showroom nice. Owned by PCA Member who takes pride in his Porsches! White, very nice paint. 138k miles. Ultra clean interior and exterior. Leather, power everything, always covered and garaged. Runs great, good fuel economy, drives and handles great.Highly desirable Fuchs wheels worth over $1,000 in the wheel set alone.Full maintenance records. All maintenance performed by Porsche mechanics. Timing belt and motor mounts changed recently and comes with newer Goodyear Eagle GT's. The main wart is the driver's side seat. A closeup has been provided. Full disclosure of everything I can think of that is less than perfect with the car.- Problem with the sunroof. I purchased this car from my father-in-law, who purchased it before that from a friend of his and fellow PCA member. The original sunroof guts broke, which I believe is a known problem with these cars. My FIL had the Inland NW Porsche dealer replace the internals with a new later system. Unfortunately, this no longer works. So the sunroof is either off or all the way closed. I haven't fixed it because I really only drive this car in the nicer weather and it is garaged the rest of the time. It doesn't leak though and it could be a very simple fix. I don't know and have not looked into it.- Driver's seat cracked. (See photo on CL) - Handbrake button needs new retention piece. - CD player quit working last year. I don't listen to the radio much in that car and have not bothered to troubleshoot it. That's really all I can think of. This car is a gem and is super clean. It looks awesome and drives great.

This is a 88 Porsche 944 Martini Replica. Its not a track car - it just looks like one. Unique and gets a lot of attention on the road and at shows. White/Black Interior is in excellent condition. Auto trans. Shifts and runs smooth. Battery is less than a year old. Weltmeister lowering front spring with Koni adjustable front and rear. Wheels are 86 offset for a wider stance. Tires still have a lot of tread remaining. The muffler rattles at approx 3k rpm so I'd replace it if I was holding onto it, but other than that just get in and go. The stock steering wheel comes with the car. It is not pictured but it is currently fitted and in excellent condition. I just purchased a new winter project so this car must go. Not enough space. It is offered complete at this time. I do not have time to part it out before next spring. The motor was damaged when a belt tensioner failed and went off timing. It will require major repair or replace. No compression in one cylinder, the others don't hold the pressure. It has been sitting in a garage for a few years. Everything was working at one time. Motors for windows, sun roof, hatch lock, antenna, fan, wind shield wipers all work. Head lights do not rotate, hatch wiper motor is damaged. Interior is still good except for a split in passenger seat. New tires mounted, mfg. date: DOT 4607 (Mid Nov 2007.) They have about 200 miles wear. Brakes were all replaced. Body work was done and painted. Have an interior dash cover replacement, not installed, could go into another car. The radio is original (Blaupunkt Model Austin CR45) and plays loud and clear. Almost all of the small, hard to find pieces were replaced. Plus, there are some extra spare parts. The asking price is a low estimate of the value of the parts if I have to sell them off individually and scrap the car. Low ball offers will not be considered. It will only be available as a complete package until 14Dec2015. I have the six volume set workshop manual, printed in Germany in 1989, English version (1706 pages of everything you need to know about the 944), also, a 284 page parts catalog with every part, part number and placement diagram, all on CD. Included is the Haynes repair manual for the Porsche 944, 1983-1989 models. Also, a photocopy of the original owner's manual. I have the actual manual but it had serious water damage and was separated, dried and copied.
