******* LAST YEAR OF THIS CLASSIC ******* 1991 Porsche 944 S2 Convertible. This rare car with only 1824 imported to the U.S. is Alpine White with Midnight blue interior and blue cloth top. It's listed with 89,972 miles showing on the odometer.I have owned for the car for 14 months. I believe the paint has been resprayed a pearlescent white and shows some blemishes and minor dents. The dash is in great condition, no cracks or wear. The convertible top is in great working shape with some wear. Goes up and down without hesitation. This car came factory equipped with Full power seat-left, Automatic speed control, Sound package, Air conditioning, Anti-lock brake system. Condition overview:-Engine - Starts right up and idles steady, pulls strong, no smoke on start up or leaks (oil or water)....belts and pulleys completed by previous owner. I have all the original receipts. Clutch Slave, Clutch and Master Cylinders - no leaks and works without issues. No slipping Tires - Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 with 2K miles, 2/2016Wheels - All in good condition, 2 have minor curb rash, no corrosion or flaking of the lacquer. Brakes - very good, look to have very minimal wear on rotor or pads and brakes without pulling to either side. Corrosion - a Southern car (Arizona and Texas) with no rust. All seals function. Rear half shafts - Newly replaced with grease and rear Diff oil, 8/2016 Oil + Filters + Battery - All replaced, 8/2016 Cam belt and idler wheels replaced at 45K Clutch assembly replaced at 70K Two sets of spare keys and well kept owners manual. Hood cover in blue and in great shape. Wheel bearings - Rear passenger needs replacing. I have all the bearings for all corners but haven't replaced. Will come with purchase. Exterior - A ding at the drivers rear quarter under the light....easy repair if tackled. Everywhere else is in great shape. Interior - everything works except the airbag light is on due to seat removal and carpet wash. Can be reset by Porsche dealership. No damages and AC blows cold. 1987 Porsche 944 runs and drives. Needs new tires. Headlight turn on pops a fuse on the left headlight. May be a good vehicle for parts or repairs. Motor, tranny, differential in very good condition. Never wrecked. Garage kept. Has started recently and drove around the neighborhood a few times. Motor is A+. Drivers window is off the track. The 1989 - 1991 944 Turbo's were the most powerful versions with 250HP and 258 lb-ft of torque. This 1989 944 Turbo has been meticulously cared for by the previous owner(s) and is now being cared for and maintained by the Porsche Factory Trained Classic Technicians of Porsche Colorado Springs. The Guards Red paint shows like new with a clear mask installed on the front bumper and partial hood, fenders, mirrors, door edges, and quarter panels. The Black partial leather interior also shows like new with no wear marks on the front seats or handled surfaces such as the steering wheel and gear shifter. The 944 Turbo has been recently inspected and serviced by Master Porsche Classic Technician, Dave Petitti of Porsche Colorado Springs. The first owner is unknown. The second owner of the 944 Turbo lived in Phoenix, Arizona and was an active PCA concours judge in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. The second owner reported the car had been partially repainted prior to his ownership. The owner believed there was damage to the left rear quarter panel and that area of the car was repaired and repainted. A copy of the service ticket from the service has been provided. Tires were replaced in March of 2013 and a clear mask was installed in 2013. BagTurbo charged1987 Porsche 944 Turbo - We just bought this car from the long-term second owner, who bought the car from Motorcars Imports out of Bedford, Ohio in 1991 (note the Motorcars decal still in place on the rear valence). He was an ASE Master mechanic and did all maintenance himself. As a result, we do not have a stack of records that is commensurate with cars serviced at a dealer, but the condition of the car speaks for itself. In 2012 he did a full service including water pump and timing belt, and he documented that service with extensive photographs, as well as parts receipts. He even kept all the old parts in a box. This guy truly loved the car, and it's obvious. The car is all original paint as verified with a paintmeter, the ONLY exception being the front bumper and panel between the headlights, which is notorious on the 944 for attracting stone chips. It has never seen salty roads, winter, and probably never seen rain during his ownership, as he was fanatical. This car is very, very original, and is complete with two keys with factory leather pouches, the original option code sticker in the trunk, cargo covers, spare tire, jack, air compressor, complete tool kit and tool roll, and factory manuals with the maintenance book stamped properly. There are only a few minor modifications to the car, all done by the previous owner and noted in photos. He installed Boston Acoustic speakers in the front doors, as well as speakers in the rear trunk, which are easily removable and only impact the trunk mat. Original Blaupunkt Monterey head unit was retained. He also hardwired a radar system that is of course now outdated, but the level of craftsmanship is incredible. He installed mini toggle switches in the driver's air vent, perfectly hidden, and small warning lights in the gauge cluster. The windshield wipers are kind of cool in a ridiculous overkill sort of way - I've never seen double blade wipers before. Not even sure they've been used more than once or twice. The car also has Porsche badges installed on the front fender with adhesive - no holes drilled, and easy to remove should the new owner desire. Condition is excellent inside and out and underneath, as you can see in the photos. There are no cracks in the leather seats or in the dash. There is zero delamination on the rear window. None. The original calipers still have a good finish in the paint and lettering. All glass is original. The windshield could stand to be replaced if the new owner likes - there was a couple small cracks on the passenger side that the owner drilled and filled himself - the fix is proper but it of course doesn't look exceptionally pretty.The paint is very clean with only a few minor flaws that are pretty hard to find. The original stone guards are still on the car and they are cracking but those are a quick fix, readily available from Pelican Parts. The original underhood insulation is also present, and is of course coming apart, but most cars we see have long since had it completely scraped off, because they all do that. Overall, this is a car that stands above the rest in both condition and originality, and will please most any buyer, short of the guy trying to win the Porsche parade. The ROW (rest of world) cars were still designated as an S in 1989.We bought this car from the second owner last year, who had owned it since 2000. The original owner resided in Virginia, and both of them serviced the car regularly and kept meticulous records. We have every receipt since new, including the original window sticker.We sold the car to a client in Massachusetts, who put about 500 miles on it, and decided he wanted a 911 Turbo, so we happily bought this car back.The car is all up to date on service, having received a new clutch and rear main seal in 2012, and a full service in 2011 (55,425 miles), including cam and balance belts, tensioners, a/d compressor, accessory belts, and fluids. We just had the belts re-tensioned at the same shop who did the major service, and who has been servicing the car since 2000.The car also has new Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires all around, in the proper sizes.This is a clean, excellent condition example of an increasingly sought-after model. The front valence, hood, and fenders at one point were resprayed to address stone chips, but all factory VIN tags are in place on every panel - the car has never had any bodywork and all panels are original. The interior is fundamentally perfect with no bolster wear, no cracks in the dash, and minimal overall wear. The car is fundamentally stock with a few very minor variations, including a front Racing Dynamics strut tower brace, a later-year Porsche CDR-3 head unit, and an aftermarket replacement trunk cargo cover. The engine, suspension, exhaust, and brakes are all original and unmodified. The car is mechanically sound with no deferred maintenance and no immediate needs. 1984 Porsche 944. 5 speed. Has the very desirable Fuch Wheels!Great driving car, I have been using this car a lot this summer and it has been a blast!Power windows work, just replaced both switches. New oil cooler gasket with new oil sender just installed. new air/oil separator seals, new intake manifold gaskets. recent oil and coolant change. The car will need a new steering rack which is included with the car, haven't had time to do. This is a very nice driver quality car, not perfect, small rust spot at both front corners and on the rear wraparound, some scratches in the paint. seats are separating at the seams. sunroof motor works but rear track needs replaced.
