1966 912 Coupe Vin #451259. Original color Ivory. Intention was to build a 911R for PCA Driver's ED. I built a similar 912/911 a few years ago with a 3.0 and 915 trans and it was a fun track toy. This 912 tub came from south Florida as a rust free example according to the seller. The tub has a little more rust than I anticipated and I don't feel comfortable with my skills to tackle sheetmetal work. The auction will include the tub on its rotisserie, a 2.2T longblock(condition unknown came from a running car) with fan and housing, intake for PMO or Weber carbs, distributor core, and a 901 transmission.Complete doors, frames and glass, quarter glass and frames, front and rear factory windshields. All suspension and brakes, and steering components, four steel 5.5x15 wheels. Also included is the sheet metal from Restoration Design(911 motor mounts, front suspension pan, front and rear floor pan, and rear shelf.) All the gauges will be included as well as the rear seats, backs and panels, and dash pad.In my opinion the car will still need outer rockers on each side and work in the footwells, and a new nose panel, and some work around the rear suspension pick ups. The parts that are NOT included and have already been sold are; Front and rear bumpers, steering wheel, shift knob, front and rear signals deck lid, glove box door and liner, smuggler's cover, fenders and hood. Again the intention was to use fiberglass parts from GT racing to make a lightweight track car. I am a long time PCA member. I will be glad to furnish additional pics to interested buyers. I can be reached at 901 604 1098. The car is located just south of Memphis, TN. Thanks Tully
