This mileage is supported from mechanical receipts dating back to 1969. Original window sticker included. Purchased from Four J Motors, 6000 Pacific Blvd, Huntington Park, Calif. Delivered on 3/29/69. Many records for the car dating all the way back to 1969. Including the original red plastic Maintenance Record book from Porsche. Paint Code: 63-6803-H Ossi Blue Original paint in the door jambs, car has been repainted Blue many years ago. Paint is driver quality and looks very good five feet away but close examination shows scratches, checking, and some chips in the front. This car is a time warp. Original carpets and original headliner. Even the interior smell of the car takes you back to 1969. This is not a showcar, this is a car that has been driven and enjoyed. Hopefully this car will find a home with somebody who will continue to drive it, just like it was designed to do. CHASSIS- How much RUST??? We all know that every old 911/912 has rust. One of the worst places to find rust is around the rear torsion bar tube area. This car shows NO rust around the rear torsion bar tubes. Quite often rust is found in the rocker panel area and the bottom of the front fenders – this car is solid in both areas. I am not going to say there is no rust but I can assure you that there is not the type of rust that is typically found in many of these cars. The car was repainted many years ago, if they would have painted over rust there would be signs of the rust coming thru the paint, no signs of rust are visible in the paint. History of the 1966-1969 Porsche 912 Today, all but the most diehard Porsche enthusiasts have forgotten that the Butzi Porsche-styled 901 (aka, 911) had a four-cylinder twin for the first four years of production. Fearing that they had gone too far up market, Porsche hastily introduced the 912 in 1966 to bridge the gap between the prices of the departed 356 ($4,100) and the new 911 ($6,490). Using a pushrod four-cylinder that was actually a slightly detuned variant of the 356SC motor the 912’s performance was actually slightly better than the 356 because of the car’s superior aerodynamics. Upon its introduction it sold for $4,700. Outside of the engine compartment, only badging and interior fitments distinguished the 912 from the 911, with true base cars having a three-dial dash as opposed to the 911s five-dial unit. A four-speed all-synchromesh transmission was standard with a five-speed optional. Most of the other usual 911 options were available including special order paints, a sunroof, and the unique soft rear window Targa top. this is a 3 owner car. first owner had it for 8 years then sold it to his secretary who drove it for 29 years who sold it to me. i have every receipt back to 1976 when the car was new. this 912 has 104k original miles on its original motor. it has never been taken apart and still runs absolutely great. when i got it i had to go through the entire fuel system to get it back up and running. still has its original fuel injection which works great. i had to put a new muffler and the only option was a bursch so that's what it comes with. when i got the car it needed some rust repair on all 4 lower corners of the windshield and rear window. so i had that fixed and gave it a full window out respray. however, i did not get to sand and buff it. but the car still looks great so it never bothered me. all rubber seals and strips are new. i left off the rocker panels because i like the look. i have them and are included with the car. i rebuilt all the calipers. added stainless brake lines. this car originally came with only a 16mm front sway bar. i got rid of that and put sways from a 1976 911S front and rear. also i added a strut bar. the car handles great. the 14" fuchs are in great condition. The interior is also in awesome condition. the only thing that it could use is to recover the steering wheel but otherwise i would almost call it mint. everything works. all gauges, windows, sunroof, wipers, horn, pioneer radio. the only thing that i have not fixed is the a/c i have been driving this car around for over 6 months and it is a truly reliable driver. i just have way too many other cars to play with and i can't keep them all. car is located in hollywood, fl and inspections are welcomed and encouraged. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours and balance within 7 days thanks for looking

This car has been with the original owner since the day it left the dealership in New York. The car has a lot of history and all service, repair, part purchases, every document from 1976 including the original bill of sale is with the vehicle. The owner did enter the vehicle into several time trials (with some victories) that are noted in the history. The car is not in perfect shape but it is a running, daily driven vehicle. The body is solid with no major rust. It was repainted (same original color) several years back but it is not perfect by any means. The interior is all original but needs some TLC. The seats have covers as the original material is cracked, broken and needs replacement. Steering wheel was replaced with an aftermarket MOMO as the original steering wheel was falling apart. The owner recently modified the rear bumper by removing the bumperettes to give it a Euro look. What a fantastic car to drive. It does need some cosmetic work, but this car is road ready! The 3.0L motor was installed in the late 70s. It is a real Euro motor. The 3.0L engine pushed the 911 beyond 140 miles per hour (don't try on public roads) and gave it a 0-60 of under 6 seconds which was fast for it's time. The engine is based from the Turbo (minus the Turbo charger) and is equipped with K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection. The engine was recently rebuilt (within the last 2 years) completely by TuneRS Motorsports in Coral Springs, Florida. Since the rebuild the car has close to 10,000 miles driven on it.
