Driven less than 500 miles since thorough restoration in the 1980's. I purchased this car in 1974, owned by my family since 1974, always a California car, garaged and driven little the last 30 years. RESTORATION: In mid-1980's underwent a rigorous 2 year restoration by Porsche 356 specialist Jim Rinker of Rinkertoys. Rotisserie mounted, bare metal restoration, battery box replaced, new clutch, new brakes, upholstery, cloth top, 12 volt system new battery, color "Guard Red", excellent chrome, a fresh engine (not the original) built to Super 90 specifications installed and much more. 2010 refreshed restoration, installed new battery and new Vredestein (Austrian) correct size tires. Steering wheel is good, chrome and paint excellent. SINCE 1980'S restoration driven less than 500 miles, always garaged, top never lowered since 1980's restore. Refreshed restore in 2010. INCLUDED red and black coco mats, original jack, tonneau cover, good Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories car cover chrome rings and hub caps. EXCEPTIONS: Not original color (white) but now Guard Red, not original engine (replaced with dual carb engine built to Super 90 specs), Oil temp, gas gauge and odo not functioning, one small shallow dent (paint not broken), scratch on driver side door window.
