This 1966 GTO has been owned by the same family since it was new. The car was last registered and driven in 2014. The majority of the car's life was spent in a dry, high altitude desert climate which contributes to the minimal rust evident on the vehicle. The car includes the full drivetrain (389ci/4bbl, 3 speed automatic, dual exhaust and 3.36 rear end). As you can see from the engine compartment and dash photos the car came with factory A/C but the compressor has been removed. Odometer shows 53,073 miles, likely 153,073; however, reality is truly unknown, The 2 dr sport coupe body is blue and generally straight, with good body panel gaps. Glass, chrome and trim are overall fair; however, some trim pieces are missing. The car's stance is stock and it sits level. From the outside the car looks quite good. The interior is blue with bucket seats front and rear and a center console that includes the shifter for the AT; however, it does show the car's age and is significantly deteriorated. It also looks like some rewiring has been done in the past and one of the gauges (perhaps a clock?) and the glove box are missing.
