The original owner picked the car up with 6 miles showing , on a car he ordered and waited 3 months to get . He drove it home 39 miles , and that was the last time he drove the car . It went into his garage and was being modified for show . He owned 6 Corvettes , 2 Cadillac's , and a pickup truck . He did not need to drive this car . I bought this car with the 45 miles that was put on it from new . It now has 347 original miles . The original owner is alive yet and can confirm everything . He live 3 miles from me . The car has the original LT-1 and 6 speed transmission . There were 1503 WS-6 's made that year , and it is 1 of 246 with the 6 speed manual transmission . The car is lowered with Eibach springs , it has heavier Granitelli sway bars , Denko frame connectors . The sealed top Optima battery is rear mounted . I have the original window sticker , build sheet , and all paper work . The red paint on the sides of the car is the factory paint . It has 18 inch wheels on front & 19 inch wheels on back , instead of the factory 17 inch wheels . and this car makes the garage smell like a new car ! Only items wrong with vehicle....Air conditioner has a leak in the evaporator core, never put leak stop in the system... prefer who buys the car take care of that... gas gauge does not work and head lights are "Hides" but you have to manually pull them up... they work fine, just need help. I purchased this car brand new ( I am the original owner the history information is incorrect) from the Dealer on 9-11-2002. It was the only car they sold that day but I was not going to let fear keep me home on the first anniversary of 9-11. The majority of the mileage was put on the car in the first 3 years commuting and has been driven very little since. Always has been covered. I never drove it hard and I have always personally pampered this car. It drives amazing and has that lovely brute horsepower and beautiful sound from the V8. Except for replacing the to two middle speakers and the antenna sticking this car has never given me one day of trouble. Great sound from the Monsoon stereo. Drives just the same as the day I took her home. I just put on vented, drilled front rotors. Not many miles since I last put on new tires or changed the water. I have always run synthetics for oil and changed it myself like clockwork. I have only removed the T tops once since I purchased it. This car is a joy to drive. There is one little defect in the front nose and also one small defect in the drivers door panel. See photos. Other than that it is in fantastic shape. Most people looking at it or getting inside think it looks amazing. Non smoker car. Driver seat is very nice. I have the original window stickers from the factory/dealer and an extra door entry key fob that has never been used. The car is beautiful. 2002 Trans Am WS6 convertible One family owned car. Ordered new here in Michigan. Been with the same family since new. I bought it from original owner. She is a close friend of the family with the intentions of having it for my wife as a toy, but she can no longer drive a stick shift car. The car is nearly perfect. The original owner repainted a portion of the car due to rock chips and a scratch. Most of the car is original paint, and it was done nicely. Factory ram air WS6 convertibles are rare, and I have its original window sticker since new. This is a six speed manual car, with a professionally rebuilt transmission done by Liberty gear here in Michigan. The trans was built to withstand over 600 HP if so desired. When the transmission was out, a new clutch was installed. The car shifts better then new! The car has been well taken care of, and has never seen a Michigan winter. It was used as a toy or summer driver since day one. The wheels were professionally restored at a cost of $200 per wheel to remove wheel weight scratches and corrosion. They are better than new! New tires, were installed at the same time of the wheel restoration, Maybe 5000 miles on the tires. Everything is in working order. No check engine lights or mechanical issues from what I can tell. I personally drove it about 50 miles and it drove fabulously. I was told that the car is one of 1117 WS6 six speed convertibles made. Car is 100% mechanically sound and car dynoed at 385 RWHP. Drilled and slotted rotors, BMR lowering suspension with brand new shocks, brand new LS7 clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, throw out bearing and brand new tick performance clutch master cylinder. 71K miles and well maintained. Brand new Nitto tires all the way around. It has a small paint blemish on the rear spoiler and some bubbling in the clear coat on the halo/hoop (they all do this). Otherwise this is a super clean car, winning bidder won't be disappointed. This car is like new, show it or drive and enjoy. There are a few updates made to the car. The targa top or roof behind the ttops has been replaced for the dreaded sail panel bubbles. Just google if you haven't heard about it. This is a big and expensive problem with theses cars starting in 1998. The rims have been redone stripped buffed and clear coated to remove the wheel weight marks on the outside. New tires and the wheel weights put on the inside with sticky weights. The headlight motors strip the plastic gears, so metal gears have been installed. The door panels seem to crack on these cars as well. In 2003-04 I replaced both door panels with original gm replacements ($1000). I am the second owner, I bought the car in 2000. Is is garage kept with a car cover (included) and in a heated garage. Never seen snow and barely seen rain. This car has not been modified. It is stock except for the crossed drilled and slotted rotors. I was looking for American made and used these. And the exhaust which is a Borla with adjustable plates for sound and exhaust tips. It has a factory alarm system and monsoon stereo.
