1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 survivor car with PHS documentation. It is has the numbers matching 350 2 bbl engine, all with correct heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, and carb. These are all correct date coded so I would assume they are also original to the block and car. The transmission is the 2 speed powerglide and the differential is the 2:56 stock setup. Odometer shows 16,571 but it is certainly not original. Likely 116,571 but that can't be verified by me. It's options include factory AM pushbutton radio w/manual ant., Deluxe wheel discs (shown in the last exterior pic), console floor shift, power steering, power brakes, soft ray glass, Paint is code G, April Gold, and interior is code 251, Gold. The car is incredibly original and complete with all original panels and floors. The car was repainted the original April Gold sometime before the second owner bought it in 1993. It still looks very nice with the expected small chip here or there. The interior is original as well and is in very good condition with only a small seam separation on the upper driver's seat back, and the rear seat back seams are stretching since they are in the sun more than the rest of the seat. Headliner is nice, visors are nice, virtually everything is original and impressive for a 49 year old car. The only detractors are the front kick panels are discolored from age. I'm the third owner of the car and bought it about a year ago from an elderly man in San Diego, Ca. It was originally sold by John Hine Pontiac in San Diego on 4/24/1968 by for $3411.75! The second owner bought it on 10/26/93 and also lived in San Diego. I have the original sales agreement from 1968, the factory owner's manual and warranty guide, the California title issued to the second owner in 1993, and the California black license plates that were on it from '68 until I brought it here to Missouri . As a side story...before I bought it, it was leased to Picture Car Warehouse in LA and was used in the second season of NBC's series, "Aquarius". It appeared in many of the episodes on exterior shots. The company needed to find a '68 Firebird with a vinyl top to recreate scenes for historical accuracy. They used a silicone material applied to the roof to look like a vinyl top. It worked pretty well but knowing that, I can tell it's not a true vinyl top car in the scenes on screen. I have documentation from Picture Car Warehouse, as well as pics and video clips of the appearances. The car runs and drives as good as it looks, but is far too original to do any modifications or upgrades. The only thing I've allowed myself to do to it is to change the wheels/tires to a set of restored Rally II wheels with new BF Goodrich Radial TAs. I have the original wheels with great whitewall tires, and the factory '68 wheel covers. All this comes with the car. I've tried to be thorough in my descriptions. The car isn't perfect as it has a small chip here or there. Feel free to contact me through eBay if you have questions or need pics of anything. A deposit of $500 is required through Paypal within 48 hours of auction ending. Remaining amount is either cash or cashiers check, but car and title will be held till funds clear. Shipping is at buyer's expense and arrangement. Thanks!

This is a 1968 Pontiac Firebird, this is a project car started but left as on the pics, this is a 2 owner car with aprox. 64,000 miles, original V8 car. The engine block with the sale is a 455 Engine with its parts (not the original one that came with the car, needs assembly), no transmission included, your choice of automatic or manual. You can come see it anytime. This could be a $25-30K restomod once you are finished. This car could be a beauty and less of these are available of the first generation. This car was made possible by John De Lorean while in charge of the Pontiac brand. Could be worth over $30,000 well done project. CLEAN TITLE. This car was sold by the first owner, the second one abandoned it and we received it as payment. We do have a list of the parts needed for the body rebuild and the quote runs around $3,000 in parts ALL NEW, you could probably get them for less, this would be a great project for a handy person and save in labor. Reasonable offers are considered for this classic, we do have it listed locally and could end listing at anytime. Please call us to see the car @ 305 300-9010. Car is sold as is. We encourage bidders to come and inspect the car before bidding. Buyer is responsible for transportation, tax, tag and title (if sold in Florida) but we can help with shipping arrangements. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required through Paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. Balance should be completed within 7 calendar days of auction ending by wire transfer or cash in person.

I'm putting my 68 firebird up for sale. It was originally a 6 cylinder overhead cam engine but now has a v8. The car was originally resilient red with white interior. The car has 56 thousand mile and so does the title. The reason for the title saying exceeds mechanical limits is in Indiana any car over 10 years says this so does my 2000 zr2 I know dumb but that's indiana. New and/or rebuilt 68 pontiac 400 block with a 461 eagle stroker kit mahle forged pistons (less than 50 miles on motor) 420hp, 500+ torque6X headsEdelbrock 750 electric choke carEngine mountsAluminum radiator w/7 blade mechanical fanHooker headers2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflersRebuild Th 350 pontiac tranny with shift kit 10 bolt posi trac rear end17" rims and tiresNew carpet New dash padNew headlinerDoor handlesFull floor pansTrunk panPackage trayRear window to trunk panelDeck lid Rear SpoilerFront chin spoilerHood with scoopsWeld in subframe connectorsLower rear quartersFront windshieldRear leaf springs and bushingTrunk lockDrilled and slotted front disk brakes and calipersBrake booster and master cylinderFront brake linesThe paint on the car is viper red and it was taken down to bare metal. I've rebuilt a few cars and all metals were but welded so it would look factory. This is a real nice car the only reason I'm considering selling is I'm wanting to get a new camaro so this one would need to go. Any questions please ask I can end auction early for the vehicle is selling locally HAD TO RELIST DUE TO A NON PAYING BUYER
