1987 Pontiac Trans Am/Firebird76,000 miles on total car Engine swapped for built Chevy 327 .040"over (331 CID). Approximately only 8000 miles on engine. Original motor was a 5.0L V8. Engine details:Chevy 327 with ARP main stud kit & windage tray, bored 0.040" over, forged 10.5:1 compression TRW pistons, LT-1 rods, Dart Pro-1 aluminum 200cc heads with ARP stud kit, Team-G single plane intake w/EGR port to pass visiual state emissions inspection, SFI flexplate, Edelbrock carburetor 750 CFM w/electric choke, distributor with custom wires, Crane roller rockers, guide plates, Crane cam 235 duration @0.050", double roller timing chain w/torrington bearings, balanced by Crebb Engineering Pascoag RI. Edelbrock ceramic Headers. Recently replaced header bolts with new ARP header studs. Engine runs on 93 Octane pump gas. Designed for atleast 400 hp. T-Tops. Louvers. Alpine sound sytem- deck, speakers, amp Red interior. Interior in great condition. No holes, no rips. Never smoked. Paint is original. Also comes with some other bits and pieces I've assembled over the years for backstock. Pontiac 1987 owners/service manual, oil filter relocation kit, Holley fuel pump, head gasket, intake gasket, extra fuel filter, extra flexplate, flashy carb linkage. The car has some rust underneath and on the wheel wells. The brake lines are intact but have some rust. The brakes are not as strong as they used to be. Rear drums brakes. Disks in the front. Transmission line has a connection point that needs improving, maybe new flared connections. I couldn't replace this without removing the engine to get one whole continuous line in place. Battery was replaced last september. Rear hatch hinges can no longer hold the hatch up. They should be replaced and will likely need replacing once every couple of years due to the weight of the hatch. Drivers seat belt buckle cover was glued back together. Cosmetic issue only. I recommend towing this vehicle. Make a decent offer and its yours. I will also consider trades for a motorcycle. You could part this vehicle and engine out for a profit but this is a decent project car with plenty of life left. Thanks! Enjoy life!
