This is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird with a factory 4.1 liter overhead cam 6 cylinder motor. The motor is free and was running 1 month ago on a bottle of gas. My very rare early 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula Firehawk #002/500 is up for auction. Red T-top, automatic, LT1 350 engine. Fastest production car in the U.S. in 1994 - out of the box 0-60 in 4.9 seconds! -¼ mile=13.5 (Corvette LTI =5.7 sec) The car is totally original, with the exception of later model year rims. I have the original rims and all four of the rare as hen’s teeth center-caps. I acquired the car from the original owner’s widow on April 1, 2011, making me the second owner. Since April, 2011 I’ve only driven about 1.5k miles. It has been professionally detailed. The rims on the car came with chrome corrosion. New original Delco AC compressor (didn’t work until I had the computer reflashed by GM). It blows ice cold. It has 4 new Goodyear Firehawk tires with maybe 150 miles on them. Repaired the window arm, as the window kept going off track. There was a very small crack in the windshield, fixed and warrantied by Safety Lite- I have all receipts of work done. It’s tuned, runs well and handles well. The Good: Almost everything- a solid great looking ORIGINAL car with all PHS and SLP birth date card=all documentation! Nothing aftermarket: original owner put in 6 disc CD player in trunk and PIA running lights. GM put in a battery disconnect switch-same as Corvettes-went entire brutal N.Y. winter and started right up in late April. Decals are good. New car cover. Original T top pocket holders in trunk. I believe the rear has never been sat in. No dash cracks. Added RediRad FM Modulator wired transmitter for MP3 player-tune to 91.2 FM. The Bad: some chips on hood filled in with One Shot line paint (not exact but close)-great looking –view pics . 5 tiny dings around power antenna (got it that way - acorns?-easily repaired by dentless pro). Front of headliner held by straight pins-rear is starting to drop. The front driver side dash speaker seems shot, but you can manipulate the equalizer so the other 9 overcome. The driver seat upright edge just started to split at the seam due to my sliding into car-covered with black electrical tape. This is one rare low numbered Firehawk and at 21 years old can still leap out with the performance switch. Never raced or pounced on, babied like a trailer queen. I was Vice President of our local car club and shown as an “Original Survivor”. If you live in NY, come for a test drive- easy pick up. Out of state you will need to provide your own transport. 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula, Pro-Touring "Sleeper" !!! 1st year of the 2nd generation F-body. A little history..I've owned multiple 2nd Gen Firebird's(74 Formula, 72, 76 & 78 Trans-Am's) and this one has everything I've learned, over the past 30 years vested in to it. 20 years of receipts..No guess work, No expense spared..one of the Best "all around" Firebirds in the country. this car runs really strong,needs a battery,gas,to crank but it needs brake work,etc,to be drivable,it needs restoration as its not perfect!floor pans and trunk seem solid,frame seems good!has some rust around the passenger side of front window,but no other rust issues that I know of!it has very straight body,i bought this car with intensions at the time of restoring it fully,my health deteriated and so now that's not option for me,so would like for some1 with the meens of fixing and enjoying it to have a crack at it!car is very well worth saving and I don't and wont just give it away!too much potential for that!would recommend you come see the car for yourself! I have the title from previous owner signed to me,but I didn't send it off after due to health complications,i checked on title and ky says it would cost me around $400 to get clear ky title!that is why I listed it as rebuildable on title description,the dealer I bought it from gave me paperwork showing that in 1992 when car was last on the road,it had been serviced and showed almost 15,000 miles,the odometer now shows not hardly 18,000 on it,on title he gave me ,it is check marked as showing actual miles,but im not sure?ik it really runs strong when cranked,the power from it rattled my neighbors windows!!them flowmasters sound really cool on it,has what looks like nice set of headers,you can see engine looks nice for the age,a lil tlc and this will make some1 a very nice muscle car!im selling it as is,no returns!buyer assumes responsibility!i have I guess what you call a open title,can sign a bill of sale,maybe a notary can do a affidavit of correction,but if not,for what it costs,im willing to get a ky inspection and send and get a ky title ,which ever 1 buyer wants! I have a set of I think there the honeycombs rims,maybe could be the snowflakes,i don't fully remember,these will go with car if the buyer is using the buy it now option!
