It has a GOOD 301 cubic inch engine (4.9 liter Pontiac engine) with a 4 barrel carburetor and a GOOD 3 speed automatic transmission WITH lockup torque converter (rare for 1979!). Drivetrain is in excellent condition with a very strong engine and a perfect transmission. It has almost every option that was available (including factory Auto leveling shock absorber system, HD Suspension, cooling, electrical, etc.) and interior is in good condition with protective seat covers always on the seats. It has removable T-top roof with original storage bags in great condition! There are no missing parts - the car is complete. The original trunk floor blanket is pictured. The original turbofin wheel covers are not damaged and are not missing any broken fins! I will include another front bumper, right side door, trunk lid, and many other air conditioning and body parts with the sale if you pay asking price. There are 4 almost new tires. If you can restore the sheetmetal body, the rest of the car is in nice, restorable condition and complete. I have many extra spare parts I will include in the sale if I get a good, sensible offer. Hello eBay, I am selling my 1974 Pontiac firebird formula 350. The car has been recently restored. The original engine was removed from the car and gone through when it had about 65k miles on it. At that point in time I installed Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake manifold, caqrburator, fuel pump, cam. The bottom end still retains stock crank, rods, pistons as they were all in excellent condition, I just wanted to get some more horse power out of it. (motor now has about 2k miles on it) I still have the original cylinder heads and intake manifold that will go with the car when it sells. When the motor was rebuilt I also had the original trans. rebuilt with heavy duty clutches at a local transmission shop. It is a turbo 350 trans. I cleaned up and painted the engine compartment and sub frame in the front and put new brakes on the car all the way around. Also installed a new brake booster and master cylinder. (has front disc brakes) I also purchased a set of brand new rally II wheels that are 15's and put on brand new bfg radial t/a's. (tires are not worn at all) The underneath of this car is clean and rust free and it was undercoated since new. The car was always stored in a garage and has never been in bad weather since new. All body panels are original and were rust free before I repainted the car. Just had your average parking lot dings here and there as you would expect on a 41 year old car. It was repainted with high quality basf r-m base coat clear coat paint, in the original Denver gold color. The interior is very, very clean and it is all original!!!! with the exception of one small rubbed through spot on the drivers seat back. It is even the original carpet. The car still retains the original Delco am/fm radio which works well, plus an original optional 8 track radio which works well! The car was also optioned with rally gauges. New leaf springs and shocks installed. The car drives and handles well and it only has 67k miles on the body, Previous owner had it for 25 years, I've had it for about 6 now. The only thing this car would need is the speedo gear changed as I haven't had the time to buy it and install. it needs to be changed because it reads higher as I had 3.23 gears installed.
