Factory Pontiac 400 engine matched to a four speed along with WS6 handling package. This rare Trans Am is just one of 2485 cars equipped with this drivetrain in a hardtop. This Trans Am wears most of its original paint (bumper covers and passenger rear quarter were repainted at some time) Car runs drives and handles like a low mile Trans Am should. Up for sale is my 1974 Pontiac Trans Am equipped with a complete matching number 455 drive-train. Only 68k original miles. Colors are buccaneer red with black interior. Paint, body, and interior are in excellent condition. Body has zero door dings or scratches. There are no cracks in the dash, perfect headliner, new carpet, one split in the passenger seat bottom. Could use a good polish. Out of 10,000 trans Am's produced in 1974, only 4648 were equipped with the 455 power train. I recently acquired this car from the second owners of 36 years (1979-2015) Car has always been garaged and only driven approximately 11,000 miles in over 36 years . Car is fully optioned with a total of 21 factory options. Power windows, very rare power door locks, tilt steering wheel, rear defrost, custom trim group, custom interior, am fm 8 track stereo, rally wheels, and ac (not hooked up) rear defrost, and tinted glass. This Trans Am is powered by its original 5.0/305c.i. engine matched to a manual four speed T-10 transmission.With 1981 being the last year for the second generation Trans Am, just 33,493 units were produced this year. Only 3225 cars were equipped with the 305 four speed option. This car has been meticulously maintained since new showing no signs of collision or rust repair. Car wears most of its original paint with hand painted stripping. Owner history since new with supporting documentation to proves its low mileage. Also included are factory build sheet, warranty booklets, and clean car fax.
