please read the entire post . (I've been getting a lot of questions as far as drivability of this car.and just how perfict is it ? one thing to get out of the way.. IT IS NOT AT ALL a 100 point show car nor does it have a 5000.00 paint job . it is not a 30,000.00 car that just sits only to be looked at nore is it a 2000.00 project car that dosent run or drive and needs complete restoration (yes its going to need things but you can start it right up you can put it into gear and it can be driven and my honest opinion its got a great look to it and I feel I am asking a very fair price but again im somewhat negotiable on it ). as plainly as I can say it is one of those cars you see and then look again because it is an eye catcher yes you could take this car and go to cruise ins right now or drive her to the sonic for a burger she is not ruff but again she is not perfict either . if I could I would not sell but as of now I have no choice .NEXT I have never put a license plate or insurance on it to legally drive the car on a main rd. I only did a title only transfer into my name when I purchased it . I do however have my street I live on which is not watched by cops and is about a mile long that I have driven it up and down this road several times and haven't had any problems with it but as far as actual getting it out and putting miles on it...no I never have done that . and I have seriously taken into consideration the parts it needs to be finished and I have dropped the price which I feel is fair. I am at this point needing to sell her for my medical bills so if you don't think my price is good please come look at the car and make an offer . ok hope this clears up any other questions and if you have any more please ask thanks and GOD BLESS !! ) ok well I guess im going to post this car for sale I purchased this car back in January of this year with intents to finish the restore on it and put it up for one of my kids to have later on in life but under the circumstances and health issues im having at this point I have no choice to let it go so here it goes . it is a 1975 firebird which is an a/c car (does not work at this time due to it not having the ac compressor lines or condenser )with power steering and power brakes . the car is pretty solid. hood has been replaced at one point in time but I cant say when or by whom but my plans were to put a formula hood on it , the underneath of the hood has red paint showing in spots. the body overall is a good solid 7 out of 10 its decently straight with no rust showing through anywhere .the doors are an exception . the exterior of them look great with a little drop when you open them but not bad . the bottom inside where all the water collects well to say the least is completely eat up.the windows do roll up and down nicely though , a man could fix them and someone at one point has tried to fix the driver door but its a very old fix and I really don't have a clue how long it will last, anyway the car has had quarters put in it long ago and the trunk pan is very solid as well . overall the car is a great cruiser the way she sets . this car does have the pontiac big block 350 engine (which buy the way sounds awesome with dual cherry bomb exhaust which isn't that old either (oil is clean tranny fluid is clean however I have not changed them and I have not found any leaks or wet spots under the car ). it is stamped in the bottom of the block (Pontiac 350) this is an a/c car however the ac compressor is missing along with the lines and ac condenser but does have the dryer on the firewall .it has a 650 holley carb small cam and an edelbrock aluminum intake also has an hei distributor . it has an automatic tranny which runs great shifts out the way its supposed to other than the passing gear cable is not hooked up due to the bracket is not the correct one but I am currently in the process of fixing this .the air cleaner and valve covers are black powdercoated and look very good (engine compartment needs a little more cleaning and detailing to look presentable . it needs tie rods they do have play but not horrible . it has hot rod black enamel ppg paint (it isn't just the primer it did get an actual enamel paint job and paint isn't that old I did get the extra paint that it was painted with) To be finished the car will need a headliner ,door panels , dash pad , some better tires , tie rods and a little love here and there . and im sure it will need a few other things to make it perfect but overall its a nice daily driver or weekend cruiser at the point its at now . 2005 Pontiac Montana SV6, 196500 miles, Blue exterior in fair condition for the year, gray interior in fair condition with stains and some tears, seats in decent condition with some stains. The interior is also in decent condition, cd and dvd entertainment system, it needs new headphone for dvd system but works. The dashboard has a crack across it and the windshield has a crack across it. The motor sound good but does use some oil, I do check it regularly and keep it added. It is driven daily a short distance to and from work. The transmission is ok, it does jerk when you first accelerate but it has been doing this for about 50,000 miles. It has original motor and transmission. Tires are approx. 40-50% tread. The vehicle has been a great vehicle. The service ABS light comes on. The drivers door has a small crack when shut, no issue with closing though, we were getting out of vehicle on a very windy day and the wind blew the door wide open and bent it slightly which causes the small crack when it is shut. This is a 2005 vehicle with almost 200,000 miles and definitely needs some work and tlc. Selling as/is with no other warranty implied.
