Beautiful 1969 Firebird convertible with options that include power steering, power brakes, power top. Overall the car is in very nice condition with a recent restoration, that included nice paintwork, engine rebuild and much more. The interior is very nice with no rips or tears in the upholstery and new carpeting, no cracks in the dash. The top is in great shape and goes up and down with the touch of a button. The 400 engine is not original to this car but was all rebuilt and runs perfect. The trans. is a TH350 and shifts with no problems, the rear is a 10 bolt with posi. traction and a 3.55 gear ratio. Also has the 6X heads. The frame, floors, trunk, underneath the doors etc. are solid as a rock, there is no rust on this car. The body panels all fit very nicely and the car is straight. This car is located in Rockaway,NJ You are looking at a 1966 GTO that started its life in Fullerton California. This GTO has never been cut up or patched up. It still retains its original body panels along with its original trunk and floors. Do to it spending a good portion of its life in Cali, this car is rock solid! One repaint over the original Martinique Bronze. Nice chrome and trim, straight body. Older paint job with a nice shine. Has a few stone chips from being driven and is not a trailer queen but a nice clean driver that turn heads. Great cruise night car or a great car to cruise down the shore on weekends. This goat still retains its original drivetrain. rebuilt matching XE code 389 engine , auto trans and 323 rear end. Being a Cali car it came off the assembly line with a smog pump. I have all the original parts(see pic) like the carb,intake,air cleaner,smog pump,brackets and alternator. Right now the car has a aluminum intake,edelbrock carb and K&N air cleaner. The engine runs strong and has plenty of torque! Good oil pressure and runs 190-200 degrees on a hot day. updated ignition petronix in the distributor no points. New tires and cragar SS wheels. Real nice riding car and handles good with the front and rear sway bars. The car has power steering and power drum brakes. The interior is in great shape, was redone a few years ago. New carpet,new seat covers,new headliner,new dash pad,new door panels. The gas gauge and speedo works. The heater works good also. The original am radio is there but is inop. All the lights and wipers work fine also. All in all its a beautiful interior with no funny odors. I have PHS docs for this car see picture. So to sum it up you have a solid matching number original sheet metal Cali GTO with a new interior that isn't priced crazy. Feel free to ask any and all questions.
