1971 Pontiac Grand Prix - Model J ORIGINAL, NUMBERS MATCHING CAR! PONTIAC 400 CUBIC INCH MOTOR! ONLY 54,046 MILES! Up for sale is an original, numbers matching 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J in good condition with only 54,046 miles! Being sold as-is, by the owner, with a free and clear PA title. This vehicle was recently appraised in-person by a licensed technician from Auto Critic and a copy of that appraisal, including Auto Critic's description of the condition of the vehicle, is included among the pictures in this listing. Pontiac 400 cubic inch V8 with 3-Speed Automatic transmission. Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor #7041264. Exterior body, paint and trim are showing some wear due to age but the car still cleans up well and looks nice when washed and waxed. The paint appears to be non-original as some paint over-spray can be seen on various pieces of weatherstrip. The chrome has some pitting but would still look nice for a "driver car" when polished. This car is a great candidate for restoration or can simply be detailed and used as-is. This car has been in storage since 2012 but was started and run regularly until roughly one year ago due to a damaged battery cable that needs to be replaced. The positive battery cable was cut in half by an overzealous mechanic who wanted to quickly remove the battery cable heat shield that bolts to the cylinder head and runs down through the exhaust manifold. The replacement positive battery cable and heat shield have never been installed and will be included with the vehicle. This was always a strong running, powerful car that started with ease and sounded and drove great. It would not surprise me in the least if replacing the battery cable and battery, paired with some starting fluid, would get this car running again. Of course, it is possible that due to sitting for an extended period some additional work may be required. The wheel well trim has been removed by a previous owner, and three of the four pieces of trim are included in the trunk. Unfortunately the fourth piece of trim was never received and is long gone. There is some rust visible in the wheel wells, rockers and doors but it is repairable. A previous owner had some body work done (presumably for rust repair) and there are patch panels at the rear outer edge of the rear wheel wells. 1984 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham - Same as Chevrolet Caprice I am listing this for the original owners - they are an elderly couple that bought the car new. The car was the wife's car and also filled the "good car" bill as well. The mileage is 39,556 and has a PA State inspection good thought May 2016. Still being the 2nd car it has really not been driven much the last 10 years, just enough to keep it going and of course PA State inspected each year. The car suffers from the typical bumps and bruises, door dings etc that seem to go along with elderly owners and a smallish two car garage. The hood and trunk lids also acted as storage shelves so there is scratching present. Vinyl top is in excellent condition. The car is totally rust free and extremely clean underneath. Tires are all good with two spares that go with the car and of course the donut. Engine is the 5.0 and does smoke some on start up which is common for the 5.0's of this vintage. I personally took the car for a nice drive and it drives and handles superbly - quiet, solid and smooth and responsive. I personally would have felt comfortable heading it down the road on a long trip it ran and drove so well. The A/C needs charged as it has not been used in at least 10 years. Interior is in remarkable condition and with a good detail and steam clean I would say it would be close to mint. Of course the Brougham option gives you the plush seats and extra plush carpet. A bonus is it has had the headliner professionally replaced in the past. Owners have always kept the car maintained well and always had done what was needed to keep it in excellent driving condition.

1990 PONTIAC SUNBIRD LE CONVERTIBLE Up for auction is a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird LE Convertible with the original 2.0L OHC 4-Cylinder Engine and 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. 127,980 miles.This car has a current PA State Inspection expiring 6/2015, all four brand new tires with less than 3,000 miles on them and still lots of tread, is great on gas, surprisingly comfortable and easy to drive for a 25 year old economy car, has a clean, well maintained interior, and an aftermarket Kenwood CD Player.So, why am I selling it you ask? Well...The car is in non-running condition due to what I believe is a blown head gasket as well as a worn out piston ring on the #4 piston. The reason I believe the engine has both of these issues is due to excessive amounts of blue smoke coming from the tailpipe, burning high amounts of both antifreeze and oil, constant heavy carbon build-up and oil residue on the #4 spark plug, and now oil spitting out of the throttle body into the air cleaner. The A/C, convertible top, and both passenger windows are not working either. The clear coat on the hood is badly damaged and has largely peeled off.If you decide to rebuild the engine this is still a decent car that easily passes inspection every year. If you decide not to rebuild the engine you still have a good parts car as all body panels are solid (although the doors do exhibit some early signs of rust) with great glass, transmission shifts great, wheels and tires are in great condition, and the interior is clean and in very good condition. This is the third time I've had to list this car after a non-paying bidder from my first listing, and a bidder that claimed to have accidentally bid on the car during my second listing.
