1979 Pontiac Trans Am, 6.6L 403 With Automatic Transmission. Originally Red With Red Interior and all Power Options including Factory Air Conditioning. The car originally came out of Utah and was a running, driving, and fully operable car before being disassembled. During disassembly both build sheets were uncovered along with all original markings and tags through out the car. The car was blasted and then coated with Glasurit Epoxy Primer. A small amount of metal work was needed and 95% of the body work is done and coated in Spies Primer, just finishing details remain before paint. Sub-frame, Rear End and all Suspension was blasted, painted and Energy Suspension Poly Urethane Bushings Installed. The engine compartment, underbody, interior, and trunk have all been coated and finished. BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires Mounted on New 17"x9" Snowflake Wheels. The car has been a previous winner at the GTOAA National Convention as well as having been featured in Musclecar Review Magazine and Paul Zazarine's book on the GTO. The car retains it original, born with, drivetrain components including block, heads, intake, distributor, carburetor, alternator, transmission and rear end. All are in perfect working condition. Power steering and brakes have been added. The suspension is tight, exhaust is like new and the brakes are excellent. The car has original Hurst wheels with new Firestone redline tires. The car has 100% original sheetmetal with one repaint and never any rust repair. The trim is all show quality as well as the chrome. The glass looks to be original and in excellent condition. The top has been replaced and operates perfectly. The paint is single stage Tyrol Blue and has a beautiful shine. Everything inside the car is original with exception of the carpet. All gauges and accessories work correctly. The original am radio has been replaced with a correct am/fm and a correct stereo tape player has been added.
