This car is one of a kind and an awesome ride! Its built the way a Trans am should have been built, with a true Pontiac big block ram air III motor. The motor is rebuilt with under 1000 miles, with an estimate about 500 horse power. Holley carb, and upgraded to a 400 turbo transmission with a 3500 stall converter. Posi traction. Hooker headers and true cherry bomb glass packs gives the car a great head turning sound. Hurst lock performance shifter. Cloth interior. Body is in great shape, no rust. We are selling our 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT Sedan. The current mileage is 114,100 but it will continue to be my daily driver until the day it sells so it will be increasing slightly. As with a car that is 11+ years old there are going to be some pro's and con's. Here's a good summary:GOOD:- The car looks extremely good. It's body/interior are in very nice shape for it's age; metallic silver paint still shines brightly and there isn't any rust. As with all 11+ year old cars there are going to be the typical scratches and minor blemishes but this one is free of the major damage/dents/dings that you're used to seeing. Very rarely do I see one of these Grand Am's with the bottom portion of the front bumper perfectly intact; usually it's badly cracked or just broken off!- We are the second owners. I still have the CarFax from when we bought it from the dealer.- Low Miles- Driver side outer tie rod just replaced and alignment performed at Tires Plus.- Front tires are 90-95% tread remaining rear are 70-75%- Brakes are solid. No grinding or metal on metal sound. - This came as a surprise to us but when we had it in for it's first service the mechanic told us the engine had been replaced at some point. By pulling some numbers off of it somewhere he estimated that it only had between 20,000-30,000 miles on it! This is documented on one of our repair receipts.- Lien Free title in hand ready to sign over. Spare key, owner's manual and original window sticker as well. - Tabs good until August 2016.BAD:- As with the majority of these cars the ABS and Traction Control light come on simultaneously. Anybody that knows these cars knows that it is a telltale sign of one of the hub assemblies needing replacement. It still rides and drives just fine and doesn't affect drive ability in the slightest.
