Vehicle Photos: About Veits Vettes & Collector Cars: Our cars are specialty cars ...collector cars...award winning original automobiles...show stopping restored autos... and newer front row highline cars! We scour the country for those rare gems. That beautiful Corvette or that shiny 55 Chevy, or that unique 98 Ferrari that makes you just burst with pride. How about that amazing 59 Retractable or the fun 71 Cougar, or the stylish 56 Mark II, or the sporty 80 Trans Am or the prestigious 91 Mercedes? Yes, we do go to those fancy Auctions in Arizona each winter. But when you sell cars for the lower than usual price that we try to always do, the buying becomes even harder. We also peruse newspapers everywhere we go. Its not at all unusual to drive hours out of our way, to look at 1 car. Sometimes, that drive is really worth it. Small auctions also get our attention. You have to look at a lot of cars, in order to buy even a few. Thats a lot of crawling in & under. But thats ok. Were fussy – because our customers expect it of us. They rely on that. Many of our clients are repeat buyers. They already are lucky enough to have 1 or more "toys" purchased from us. Sometimes they want to add to their collection, sometimes they just want a different one to play with, so they want to trade. Whatever, their reason, weve got the answer. Weve got the stock. You can drive ours right off the floor & enjoy a day in the sun or take them to a car show, with pride. Lots of our cars have won trophies for their new owners. Of course, we get walk-in sellers. Someone has a car they have grown tired of, or perhaps they inherited a car they really dont want. Perhaps they just need the money. If thats a special car - if its been lovingly cared for, and is either a corvette, a muscle car, a hot rod, a classic, a foreign, or an antique auto - be it convertible, t-top, hard top, coupe or roadster...were interested. Our customers come from all walks of life and all parts of the world. Sometimes, a new owner cant physically come to inspect a particular car. Thats ok, well walk around it & describe it to them, over the telephone - so long as we speak their language. We have a reputation for giving honest information over the phone, when describing our beauties. We do have some customers that leave disappointed....sometimes a customer wants a fixer-upper". Sorry, we simply dont carry those. We dont have those "Winter Projects". The closest we can come, is a gorgeous, drivable, almost flawless car that someone wants to make into a totally flawless show stopper. It will never be allowed to get dusty - not even the engine. Those buyers will feel like theyre in a candy store. Our cars may not be of that quality, but they have won trophies. It is our top priority as former collectors ourselves, to describe all of our vehicles accurately, to the best of our ability. Even though we scrutinize each car before we buy it, we resell cars, we do not restore or warranty them. Therefore we cannot guarantee any of the claims made by previous owners, their agents, or consigners. We recommend that any individual, contemplating purchasing any used car or collector car- from us or anyone else - to either inspect it themselves, or send a trustworthy individual, to verify that it’s description is accurate. If you have trouble locating such an individual, we will be happy to recommend an impartial, unaffiliated individual or firm to assist you . Okay, youve dreamt about the car you saw here. You can afford it. You cant stand it - you just gotta have it. But now what? You dont want to drive it all the way home. Well either ship it to you ourselves, or arrange for shipment via a major car shipper. These shippers do nothing else but ship cars - of all prices. Theyre good, careful & insured. Drivers tell us constantly how cars being delivered, from other sellers, often bring tears of regret. But when they ship OUR cars, the proud new owners are never disappointed!!!! We get many phone calls, from these buyers telling us their joy at the car being just what we said it was. This is a fun little car in show room condition that runs great. One owner before me. I bought the car to keep for show but haven't done anything with it and need room in the garage. Would love to sell it to someone who would use it for show and care for it. New battery. Tires in great condition. Heat and AC work. Speakers may need to be replaced as they are a little fuzzy. This car is not even broke in. Car was detailed a year ago. The description says minor problem with the title... I do have a loan on this car but would not have a problem paying off loan and getting title if I have an interested buyer.

Up for sale is a 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix. This is a South Carolina car. I'm originally from South Carolina. It was restored back in 1995. I moved up to Iowa 12 years ago and have stored the car in a heated and air conditioned garage. I've been the owner of this car for a lot of years... this is a daily driver car and not a show car, but the potential is there. I have more than 20 years of history of things done through receipts of parts & work done on the car, rather than a short listed ad of things stated that were done... I have the receipt proof with this car. I've owned it a long time, and it's priced less than most of the '69-'72 Grand Prix cars listed on Ebay. This is what I call a "20 footer" car... looks good 20 feet away and will turn a lot of heads going down the road or parked, but there are flaws in the paint. The vinyl top is as good as it was when I installed it 8 years ago. Although the odometer shows 46,550, I know that this is not original mileage, since I've turned it over 100,000 back in 1992.Being a 46 year old car, this is in no means a new car, and has some of the "old car" problems. There are no warranties with the sale of this Grand Prix. Overall, this car is in very good condition for its age. I've driven this car to my home state of South Carolina from Iowa and back in 2010 and again in 2013 with no issues whatsoever. The car doesn't have any body filler in it. You can stick a magnet to any area of the car and it will stick. The car was stripped down in 1995 and glazed to smooth out any ripples at the time, but no filler to fill any damage. The driver's side rear quarter was at one time repaired with filler that had damage prior to me owning it, but when we stripped the car, we removed the filler and tin cans found to "fix" it, and welded new, correct gauge sheet metal. A couple of items I want to mention concerning this car - - I do have the car listed locally, and reserve the right to end the auction at any time.- I added electrical gauges in the ceiling above the rear view mirror. They're mounted by the bolt holding the mirror. If you don't want them, they come out easily and no won't be able to tell they were even there.- I added a bluetooth JVC stereo with hands free capabilities when making or receiving calls. There's also a 12 disk CD player connected to the deck mounted in the trunk.- I have the original build sheet for this car - found under the original carpet padding. It purchased new by a dealer in Laurens, SC - New interior 10 years ago (sound deadening, firewall pad, carpet, vinyl seats, headliner). A headrest did get scratched by a cat and needs recovering.- All new seals 10 years ago - door seals, window seals, and trunk seal. Still look brand new- One minor crack in the dash about 1 inch long. There's a fitted dash cover to protect it- Original Clock still works- Pontiac 400 engine rebuilt in 1996. Lightly bored .30 over at the time. Has an Edelbrock intake, correct 1971 Rochester Quadrajet. I installed an electric choke and wired it up, but may need to be adjusted. The block is a 1973 block with 1973 4X large valve shaved heads.- Hedman Headers were installed at the time of the engine rebuild.- TH400 transmission rebuilt in 2014- All new tires in 2015- Pontiac hood tach in 1995 - works great- This is an A/C car. Within the past 10 years, I installed a new condenser and evaporator core, but never recharged the system - it does have a light vacuum leak - I suspect the seals around the compressor, and it would need to be wired.- 10 bolt 3.73 rear end - not posi-traction- No rust on the belly pans, and the car has never been rust proofed- No rust in floor pans- No rust in trunk floors- Bumpers are straight- Body is solid- Very minor rust on body in the normal GP areas. There is a nickle size bubble at the bottom corner of the passenger door & quarter, 2 bubble spots on the hood near the cowl (common areas on 69-72 GP's), a couple of very small bubbles at the trim on the sail panels, and a couple of minor bubbles on the passenger rear wheel well lip.- Several other parts I have will go with this car... spare trim, rally II rims (14"), a couple of dash wiring harnesses that aren't fully complete, and some other odds and ends.- The rope seal in the rear main has had a slight drip in it for about 10 years... rope seals leaking in Pontiac engines is a regular occurrence, and hasn't really bothered me too much- The blower motor works from a toggle switch... I hadn't taken the time to figure out the problem- All receipts I have since the mid 1990's will go with the car. I haven't seen many ads for old cars that can claim this - at least with this car, you'll have 20+ years of history of what was actually purchased & done, and not just someone's word for it.I unfortunately had to relist the car because the winning bidder wasn't able to follow through with the payment terms, so the winning auction had to be cancelled. If you win the car, I'm willing to sell the car to you - I request the winning bidder follow through with the payment guidelines. *** Please be sure to read the "Shipping and Payment" section in the auction. $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of winning, and the remaining balance paid by cash in person, personal check, or cashier's check within 7 days after the auction's end. All checks will be verified before the car and title are transferred to you. If you want to make a Best Offer, please know and be prepared to pay for the car if your offer is accepted. Shipping - if you need to have the car shipped to you, Ebay offers shippers for you to choose from, or you can set up your own shipper to get the car, either way, the winning bidder is responsible for shipping. I'll hold the car in my garage for you for up to 30 days from the winning date of the auction. If 30 days have gone by, you'll need to make other arrangements for storage. If you have any additional questions, please let me know. Serious inquiries only. Thanks for looking -

*Classic Barn Find* Up for sale for only the third time ever. 1964 Pontiac GTO coupe with 389 4 barrel motor and automatic transmission. In the car is a period-correct, date stamped 389 motor, and this sale also comes with the original matching numbers block, crank, and heads. Also included is a Tri-Power carb set-up. This GTO was purchased for a Veteran as he returned stateside by his wife, as a welcome home present. He enjoyed the car but died only a few years later, and the car went into storage. It was purchased from the widow in the mid-90s, and driven for a few years with the transplant 389 motor in it. The trunk floor appears to have been replaced, as does the passenger floor pan. It is straight and very solid, and all interior parts appear to be original equipment. Panels are straight, glass and trim are in good condition. The original hub caps are in the trunk in good shape. This is a great barn-find project, of one of the most legendary muscle cars of all time. Buy it now, and have it ready for Summer cruising! This car has a clean Iowa title, and is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. NOTE: *I had a PERFECT eBay Feedback score of 100% until a European buyer Pushed "Buy it Now" on a '31 Ford Hot Rod I was selling, as I was simultaneously taking a deposit from another buyer. They were disappointed and grumpy about that, and left negative feedback, which I am trying to remove*
