This is a Very Nice Original (Pretty much mint condition) 1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy Pace Car Edition one of a low production of 4speed manual trans Fiero Indy models loaded with options that are generally much more desirable then the much more common automatic version . The car has been Garaged and babied since new the paint is original and in excellent condition nothing has been touched up or repainted. the car spent most of its life in California . I bought it about 10 years ago from the Original Owner and it been stored in a heated garage and driven to shows and nice weather weekend outings since I owned it. I did have had the A/C system updated (R134) and serviced recently , and this car has a new factory matched headliner ( all of these cars no matter how well they were kept either have a sagging headliner from age or they have been replaced ) The seats are gorgeous in this car which is unusual to find in these cars , they had nice seat covers on them since new when most of the miles were put on the car so the seats are like new and have never been dyed or repaired, the original leather is still very nice showing no wear and are they are soft as new with no cracks or hard spots,Carpets are like new as well as the rest of the interior and factory floor mats . The tires are recently replaced with new B.F.Goodrich T/As & it has a new Delco factory type battery. It was thoroughly check out serviced recently and new calipers were installed due to some age related leaking just last year. The car is rust free and runs and drives like new and is factory original with the exception of service & maintenance items related to normal wear . I used to attend Fiero Meets at the Carlisle Shows and this car was consistently the best original one there. This car was shown with the original window sticker and manuals it came new with that will go with the car, as well as a number of original promotional items and the factory press release kit of the Indy Fiero . This cars condition & appearance is on par with a time capsule car that has been stored away since new with very little miles on it . But this car has been driven enough that it doesn't have any of the issues developing that most cars that sit for years unused develop once you start to drive them, this one is excellent , reliable and ready to drive & enjoy and priced way below what you could easily spend trying to restore one of these to this condition . The engine scoop was made by the same person that made the scoop for the real pace car, is one is non functional and car be removed and installed easily. The car was not modified in any way to install it attaches to the deck grill and foam on the base protects the painted surfaces.
