Been a Georgia Car Most Of It's Life. 1977 Was The Year The Movie "Smokey and The Bandit" Was Released. They Used The 1977 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition in that Film. Which Made These Cars an Instant Hit and Highly Desirable Among Collectors Today. Currently This SE T/A Has a Non Matching YX 400 Motor. However It Still Has It's Original Driveline Intact. Car Has Been Idle For Several Years And Is Currently (not running) This T/A Will Need Complete Restoration. Floor Pans, Etc...However, The Trunk Pan and Tail Pan Are In Excellent Condition. Page ITEM DESCRIPTION For Your Consideration is a 1967 Tempest Custom 2DR Hardtop Coupe Originally a 326 V8. Now a GTO Clone. Currently Married To a 1974 Catalina 400 Engine and 400 Auto Transmission With B&M Shifter. Has A lot Of GTO Embedded Already. New GTO Hood, Emblems, Trim Molding. Exterior is Pretty Solid and Straight. No Visible Rust To Speak Of. Floor Pans Have Been Patched. Trunk Pan is Solid and In Decent Shape With The Exception Of a Small Hole About The Size Of a Nickel On The Trunk Floor. It'll Need a New Trunk Lock Cylinder and Key . Color Was Originally The Beautiful Gulf Turquoise. Obviously Needs Paint Now. Interior is Good Driver Quality. No Rips or Tears. Front and Back Seats Were Previously Reupholstered. Headliner and Door Panels Are In Good Shape. Carpet Ok. Dash Pad Isn't Cracked Or Beat Up. Passenger Door Will Require a New Key and Lock Cylinder. Chassis and Frame Are Solid. Was a Georgia Car. Mild Climate Which Has Helped Preserve it Significantly. Tires have Good Tread. One Tire is a Mismatch. 15 " Rims All Around. Car Has Rear Air Shocks. Engine Starts Right Up. Good Motor.
