The Prowler's design was based on the "Hemisfear" concept originally conceived by the now famous Chip Foose. There is little argument that the Prowler was collectible the minute it rolled out of the factory. Only 8532 Plymouth Prowlers were made between 1997 and 2002, and examples this nice are getting harder and harder to find. This one has just 10,075 miles on it, and its in superb condition inside and out. 2001 was the only year for the Prowler Orange paint. With just 695 Plymouths dressed in orange, it is one of the rarest colors. Its powered by a 3.5 liter V6 rated at 253 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque mated to an Autostick shiftable automatic transmission. With lightweight construction (including the liberal use of aluminum) and 50-50 weight distribution, this Prowler launches off the line impressively and stays glued to the road through turns. The Prowler comes with power windows, locks and mirrors, remote entry, leather seats, an AM/FM/Cassette/CD Changer stereo, air conditioning, rear defrost, tilt wheel, cruise control, chrome wheels and more.
