1974 Plymouth Duster32,000 Miles!! Wow!! I am selling this car for a friend of mine. He has lots of cool cars, and is raising money for probably some other cool purchase. It is a great example of this car. The body is rock solid, and it is a great driver. Runs absolutely perfect. Drive it anywhere. I would take it to Florida and not be concerned with reliability! We think the miles are real, based on the window inspection registration last being from 1979!! It has the big slant 6. This car would be a great donor for a V8 muscle car conversion, or leave it just like it is. Interior is good, body is good, engine trans good, all good. You won't be disappointed. Following is the generic description of who I am and what we do. I run the Boat-N-RV Warehouse at Exit 21B of the NY Thruway, in the Upper Hudson Valley of New York State. I am the General Manager there. I have worked for the company for over 20 years, and the owner of all the stores and affiliated companies is one of my best friends. That's my day job. Something I also do is run Ft Ann Traders at the corner of Rt 149 and Rt 4 in Ft Ann, NY. The actual address is 52 George St. What I do there is take all the odd trades of cars and trucks and bikes and planes and trains and things that come in trade to the Boat-N-RV stores, and then wholesale them worldwide to the public through eBay and Craigslist and by lining them up in Ft Ann. We have several other storage locations in the area, so be sure to check where a piece is located before you show up to see it. 1973 Duster. Originally from California, I purchased it from old lady in Montana. Car is rust free other than minor rust in both lower rear quarters. Seems to be original paint and interior. Dash pad is not cracked, Upholstery is great shape. build sheet is under rear seat and has fender tag. Original radio, paperwork, jack. Has snake skin roof, fold down rear seat. Original 6 cyl had bad cylinder, so I swapped in a 400 big block from a 1973 road runner. Schumacher mounts made it easy to bolt in. Utilizes stock exh manifolds hooked to a new dual exhaust. It started life as a six cylinder car, but now has a freshly rebuilt 340 mated with a 904 transmission. Disk brakes up front and 8.25 rear equipped with limited slip. Car has been painted 1970 Sublime Green. Body is laser straight with no dents or dings. This Duster runs and drives perfect. The car retains its original bumpers that are presentable, but could use a rechrome. The front bench seat has a split in the seam on the driver side. 1970 Plymouth Duster 340- VS29H0 340 Duster in great shape. Very nice driver and I wouldn't hesitate it to drive it anywhere. Re chromed bumpers, recent paint job, very nice interior with new BE&A dash, nice vinyl top etc. The car currently has a non#s 340 in it and the original 340 is also included (it is an assembled long block, assumed to need rebuild). The odometer says about 42,000 miles and I believe it to be original as the car doesn't appear to have any body panels changed. Very nice trunk floor, frame rails and quarter panels. The numbers stamped in the radiator support match the fender tag, vin tag and 340 engine stamp. The car runs great. I believe the motor in it now is a 1968 340 with an aluminum intake and the correct exhaust manifolds.
