This Duster has some interesting features, it is 1 of 3 known to exist in the original color of Basin Street Blue or Petty Blue (See the last picture of the Chysler Registry). The drivetrain is a 1971 360 Warranty motor with no vin stamping on the block. it originally came with a 318. This is one of the first 360 motors built. It was professionally rebuilt by Harrison's Machine Shop in Renick W.V. It has a 500 CFM Holley 2 barrel carb, ceramic coated headers with dual exhaust with a H pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The original exhaust manifolds are included with the car. It has a rebuilt 727 transmission with a B&M shift kit, and a mopar performance torque converter. The sure grip rear end has been rebuilt as well. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt with polyurethane bushings, and KYB gas shock absorbers. Car came from the factory with 4 piston caliper power front disc breaks. The original date coded ralley wheels are still on the car. It originally came with air conditioning but is no longer on the car. All the glass on the car is tinted from the factory. This car will need a windsheild wiper motor. I have owned this car for 19 years and have kept it inside. I built this car to be driven and it sure is a blast to drive! I ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle at about 15MPH in this car. It has no problems other than frame damage, but will need to be put on a stretching machine. Also, the front bumper got knocked in slightly and now impinges on the serpentine belt, so this wore off during the half mile or so I drove it after the accident. Other than that everything worked 100% except for the blower knob which I have the assembly and will include with the vehicle (was about to replace it when *CRASH*). Good motor and tranny, motor was rebuilt just before I got it and neither ever offered the slightest problem. Has been sitting for about six months which is why I'm putting it on here.

In fact it took 2nd place in this years 32nd annual mid atlantic mopar nationals in the A body class. This car is all original, I have the factory wheels, hubcaps, and the car has the original paint! 1941 Plymouth special deluxe 4 door sedan.....the best model you could get. Last one before the war. Runs perfect. GOOD.....6 volt charging system works flawlessly....rocker panels professionally replaced...no other rust except on running boards...the scratch on the front fender is only a bad scratch, no creases or dents...the only body damage is a few rinkles in the bottom of rear fender. drives perfectly on the road, tight and straight, last driven on road in 2005. I have driven it around the yard recently. new generator and new voltage regulator 99%complete and original 6 volt charging system works perfectly BAD.....very hard to start with 6 volts, I think it needs new battery cables.....brakes do not work, they may pump up but I would recommend a complete rebuild, some issues with throttle linkage, I think It just needs clips but I didn't get into it.....needs new paint....needs new windshield, on ebay for $111, someone shot it with a bb gun...needs interior reworked...needs tires...most of the bulbs are shot from running it on 8 volt battery ALL TRIM IS THERE, INCLUDING RINGS FOR WHEELS, THEY ARE IN THE TRUNK. EXTRA PARTS INCLUDED SUCH AS POINTS, CAP, ROTOR, FRONT BRAKE LINES, WHEEL CYLINDER KITS, STARTER, SOME METAL BRAKE LINES. I SURE I'VE FORGOTTEN SOMETHING, JUST ASK QUESTIONS AND LOOK AT PICS, I WILL TAKE PICS OF WHATEVER U WANT JUST ASK. THANKS FOR LOOKING.
