The 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner was voted Motor Trend magazine’s Car of the Year in only its second year of production. In 1970 Plymouth started a new line and it was the E Body that had the Cuda and Challenger. It was wider and lower than the A body. The one we have for you is a V Code Car which means it's a factory 440 Six Pack car. This Cuda has a date code correct 440 Engine just not Matching #s. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Plymouth, but first we would like to tell you a little about us. The body is solid and straight with good lines and fit. This being a Six Pack car it has the shaker hood along with the rear wing and front spoiler. It also has the road lamp package. It's painted in the factory Color scheme Banana Yellow with the Black 440 Stripes. The paint shows very well with a slick finish. This Cuda has nice glass and trim. All the bumpers look new as well as all the weather stripping. The rear valance has the cut outs for the dual chrome tips. The final touch is the factory Ralley Wheels with White Letter Tires. Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '70. On the inside it's also done in the factory black color scheme. It has the correct bucket seats and console. Also it retains the factory seat belts. The seats, console, door panels and headliner all looks good. The radio was changed to an Am FM Cd Player. To finish off the interior it has the custom Wood Steering Wheel. Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it all looks correct with the only change being the vintage Heat and AC. It's powered by a '70 Model 440 with the 3x2's. The trans is a 727 Torque Flite Automatic that is mated to the 8 " Rear End. The engine looks as it would have new with it being painted and no chrome. It has the stock manifolds and dual exhaust. To help it stop it has factory Front Disc that are Power with drum out back. It also has Power Steering. When you look under this 'Cuda the bottom looks great with solid floors and frame rails. 1973 Plymouth Duster 340. True H code car, 727 trans, 3.23 gears with sure grip. Numbers matching engine, trans and rear end. Car was restored in 2001, I have photos, but has some paint blemishes etc. Has all its orignal metal and is solid. Heater blower is not working and radio needs to be hooked up, everything else works. Speedometer, temp gauge, amp gauge, and fuel gauge. Lights, wipers etc. Car now has a rechromed from bumper and a refurbished original single snorkel air cleaner that are not shown in the pics. Engine was rebuilt in 2001 and has less that 5k miles on it. It has a purple cam, bored .40, a deep oil pan, hooker headers etc. Runs really well, its cold natured, no choke, but once warmed up its great. NIce 3" exhaust, nice sound but not too loud. Has brand new american racing wheels and BFG tires. If also comes with a set of new tires on Weld wheels. I had recently had the 3:23 gears installed, I have 4:56 gear w/sure grip that can go with the car as well. Car is for sale locally as well. I will answer questions and send pics if needed.

It has torsion bar front adjustable suspension. The ride height is lower in the front than stock. You could adjust it up, or go back to the stock springs if you do not like this look. Bidding on a classic first generation vintage 1965 Plymouth Barracuda- Flastback A Body Coupe in its nice original condition. Features the distinctive wraparound back glass and 273 cu in (4.5 L) LA V8 Commando engine. Car is bone stock besides some new rear carpet and the cassette player and door speakers. Tach reads 45,515, starts runs and drives well with good brakes and tires. Has been certified inspected and tested and is a great running car with automatic transmission and A/C. Ready to drive home! Condition: Upon close up walk around there is some normal wear for the year, nothing serious. Up close there are some tiny nicks in the paint, no major dents but on the bottom of each door there is a small rust line, visible in the pictures, on the white pinstriping. Interior is good with some wear in areas, like the driver side door armrest below the window is worn, and the top of the back seat behind the driver side has a small tear. Overall all pretty nice condition for an original '65. Underneath and trunk are in good shape, engine is really clean.
