The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a “gentleman's” muscle car. The GTX was to be an exceptional blend of style and performance. What differentiated it from a normal Belvedere was its special grille and rear fascia, shared with the Satellite, as well as mock hood scoops, chrome fuel filler cap and optional racing stripes. Start the engine on this 1968 GTX convertible and listen to the roar of the magnum 440 with 4 speed manual floor shifter, tachometer and numbers matching. Steal one glance down the exterior you will find the car's rock solid body, coated with a bright blue metallic paint along with a white body stripe and white vinyl power convertible top. As you cruise along singing to your favorite oldies on your AM Radio be certain you will ride in comfort on the center front bucket seats. Built and restored in 2004, this car still stops traffic at any angle. Not a frame off perfect 100 point trailer queen, but a high end driver that will hold its own at any car show. The paint is base/clear, and has an amazing depth and shine. There are NO Rust bubbles or issues with this Hot Rod!! The undercarriage is extremely clean, very solid, clean, straight, and rust free. No shoddy patch panels, holes, soft spots, or issues. Trunk is also very solid and looks great. Car rides, drives, and handles like a dream. Straight down the road with no shimmy’s or vibrations.
