The truck is a Lariat Edition fully loaded very reliable 2002 Ford F150 4D Extended Cab 4X4 5.4 Triton V8. Power Windows, Power locks, Sunroof, Michelin tires on premium wheels, Power Seat, Bed liner, Tow hitch package. The toolbox is NOT included in the sale. Well maintained with 170K miles. Runs strong, AC blows cold and tires are in excellent condition. I always run full synthetic oil, had the transmission and rear end rebuilt less than a year ago. Any issues with this truck are either cosmetic or minor: the shift indicator is off by one, meaning "D" is now neutral and D2 is actually drive. This doesn't affect the performance of the vehicle whatsoever. The rear driver’s side door is stuck. This can be repaired if needed. I always use the passenger side back door to get to the rear. Paint finish shows fade and signs of wear.

Best of all, this attention-grabbing 1979 Ford F-100 will cost you less than a brand new 4x4. This is one mean green machine, and everyone knows it the moment it arrives on the scene. The F-100's big, square shouldered design is only enhanced by features like the raised suspension, big off-road Mickey Thompson tires, and diamond plate rear bumper. But just like a loyal bulldog, this pickup is still approachably friendly. The emerald green paint shines particularly nice in the sunshine, and there's plenty of brightwork to accompany it. It also doesn't hurt that all of this is free from dents, scratches, and gouges, which is a clear sign that the previous owner did not try to take this 4x4 pickup through the mud on a daily basis. But just because he was careful doesn't mean you have to resist hijinks. This truck was built to take the workload with features like its spray in bedliner. Open the door, and you'll see some obvious signs of an investment in keeping this truck comfortable. The black vinyl bench seat looks new, and the same can be said for the matching carpet and door panels. The exterior green paint is used on the dash and accent pieces to add some nice color and give the truck a nice uniform feeling. The driver gets a grippy Grant sports steering wheel, and beyond that are the original gauges and heat/defrost controls. It has been updated with an AM/FM/CD stereo for more modern tunes, and an auxiliary gauge package for oil, water, and battery, because there's more going on under the hood than when this Ford left the factory. Powering this pickup is Ford's trusty 351 cubic-inch V8. It has been enhanced for a host of performance goodies such as Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performance intake, Mallory ignition, and a wicked sounding dual exhaust. But beyond added power, it just looks particularly nice with the chrome air filter, chrome valve covers, and new belts and hoses. Basically it's ready for the car show, except you're likely going to want to get dirty on the way there. After all, it's hard to resist taking this one off pavement considering it's a 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case, enhanced ground clearance, and some of the best off-road tires money can buy. Of course for the days you just want to go to the hardware store, the four-speed manual transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes all mean this truck can run around town with ease. This is 1979 was the last year for this now-iconic F-Series style, and this one of the most aggressive builds we've seen that's still ready for the streets. This is a custom head turner from grill to exhaust pipes. It has a newly rebuilt (this month) novi 2000 supercharger, 2 new front air bags for suspension, truck can drop to the floor-each air bag is on remote and can be adjusted while driving. This truck really can get up and go, but it isn't a practical daily driver. This is a SHOW truck, and it has ALL the bells and whistles. Runs good, all known problems listed.
