Hello and thank you for taking a look at my 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Off Road Package. I have owned this truck for the last 12 years and have had tens of thousands of trouble free miles. I am the second owner of this truck. The overall condition of this truck is great, presenting with no major eyesores on the bodywork and a couple of small tears in the seats as well as some tearing on the steering wheel. The small block 350 5.7 liter V8 runs like a top and fires up the first time, every time. A new transmission has been recently installed, promising many more miles of sending power to the wheels without issue. Inside the truck has a single disc CD player as well as a cassette player, both of which work without issue. The four-wheel drive is operated by buttons to the right of the column shifter, all of which go straight into gear. This four wheel drive can be switched into four hi while moving. The mileage on the dash is not correct. Though it reads at just over 200,000, the actual mileage is likely higher. I believe the binnacle was replaced prior to my ownership. 2011 Chevrolet Silverado “BIG DOOLEY LONG BOX” Crew Cab 3500 LTZ With Southern Coach Conversion Package and many other enhancements. This, better than new, truck only has 12,800 miles on it. The reason for lack of use is, I have been waiting for my wife to retire to start traveling with the camper. I was injured in a household accident that kept me from going anywhere for 2 years. My health has been declining and I’m not up to using it anymore. I have spent most of my time doing enhancements on the truck. It is much cleaner than the day I took delivery new. The entire truck has been polished or cleaned to show quality inside, outside and underside and under the hood. The paint is spotless and kept waxed or polished. It has stayed inside my garage, for the most part, always. It gets cranked up and driven around a little weekly. There is no option available it does not have. I will list as much as I can think of: Mechanical= Engine is a Duramax 6.6 liter turbocharged V8 Clean Diesel (the most powerful engine ever built for a pickup by GM). Transmission is an Allison Heavy Duty 6 speed automatic, it can be set in towing mode for longer shift pattern or shifted manually gears 1-6. Four wheel drive with 2 speed transfer case. Use it with 2 wheel drive ,or 4 wheel drive full time, It has a off road 4 wheel drive that allows no speed difference between the front and rear axles that can be switched to low range. The pulling power is incredible; it also has a neutral position. Axle ratio is 3.73 with electronic locking differential. Engine produces 765 foot pounds of torque and 397 horsepower. Rated max gross vehicle weight is 29,200 pounds. Towing capacity is 21,700 pounds with a payload amount of 6,635 pounds .It has a 2 ½ inch weight distributing hitch receiver and 2 inch adapter. It is wired for 5th wheel hitch, tow trailer and slide in camper. The bed has had a 5th wheel hitch installed that the mounting nuts are welded in and you could install another hitch in minutes without having to go under the truck. Braking is a massive all disc brake with antilock PLUS (and this is the greatest thing in the mountains) an exhaust (jake) brake. You can set cruise control in the mountains fully loaded and it will not run away. THIS IS A LIST OF MOST OF EQUIPMENT ON THIS SHOWPIECE: 1. Electronic trailer brakes are factory in dash controls fully adjustable gain control. 2. It has the Z85 trailering suspension and the skid plate package and tow hooks.3. It has dual batteries with run down protection4. The tires are 17” Michelin all terrain with very little wear.5. Southern Coach conversion that includes the custom grille and the Chrome on the door handles, the color matched front lower bumper and the chrome Step rails. It also has chrome fender molding and chrome window rain guards.6. There is a polished aluminum tool box in the bed.7. In the bed is, the top of the line, K-Liner $900.00 spray in bed liner8. There is a chrome rear step bumper with wiring plugs for the trailer Wiring and the cameras on the trailer.9. It has a video system that is wired for 3 cameras left ,right, back. It is wired for a fourth that was never used . Also there is a camera in the front grille.10. It has a factory backup camera that is a separate unit that uses the radio/navigation monitor. I have replaced that camera with a bumper mounted camera because the factory camera is in the tailgate. If you remove the tailgate or lower it you lose the camera. That camera is still there and all you have to do is unplug the bumper camera and plug in the one in the tailgate if you want.11. For more security it has ONSTAR. That comes with the truck’s own phone number and if you want the use the onboard navigation system all you have to do is press the Onstar button and tell the operator where you want to go. They will send the route to the navigation system for you. You can connect your phone by Bluetooth to the handsfree system or use the truck’s phone which ever you want. 12. The seats are Lite Cashmere leather. Both front seats have full power with lumbar adjustable and they recline and they are HEATED. The driver’s seat has 2 memory positions. You can remote start the truck by the key remote or by smart phone app and if it is cold enough the seats will warm up automatically. The rear seat folds up for tons of storage. Also I replaced the fuzzy carpet like under panels with matching the leather vinyl. Everything that touched the original panels stuck to it.13. The outside mirrors are heated.14. The accelerator and brake pedals are adjustable with the touch of a button.15. The climate control has dual zone controls, all fully automatic.16. Cruise control17. Programmable power locks with remote start and keyless entry18. Driver information center (Odometer,trip meter,fuel range-avg economy-fuel used,timer,trans temp,trailer output,eng hrs,compass adjust,door lock settings,exit lighting,approach lights,chime volume,memory seat,elevated idle.)19. Gauges include engine temp, fuel, tach, speed ,outside temp, compass, Bluetooth info, volts, navigation info. The steering wheel has controls for the cruise control, answering and hang up phone, onstar control, volume ,and a range of radio and CD controls. It also has a tilting steering wheel.20. The radio is AM/FM/XM satellite with CD player MP3 player and USB. The speaker system is Bose surround sound. The Navigation is both Turn By Turn with live Onstar advisor and it also has XM NavTraffic, if you get lost you turned something off.21. Enjoy the outside with the factory installed power SUNROOF and power sliding rear window22. It’s got powerful foglamps23. The outside mirrors are power adjustable and extendable trailering mirrors 24. It’s got front tow hooks25. It’s got EZ lift tailgate26. It’s got Universal Home remote transmitter27. It’s got Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist28. It’s got a 36 gallon fuel tank29. It’s got a heavy duty external engine oil cooler and an auxiliary transmission cooler30. It’s got a 110 volt inverter mounted under the hood that is wired to an inside plug on the back of the console35. It’s got a big center storage console36. It’s got automatic headlamps.37. The warranty is for 5 years or 100,000 miles and it’s only got little over 12,000 on it!38. The engine intake, and turbo pipe have been polished to a high gloss as well as everything else is cleaner than new. Even the tailpipe has been polished. All of the underneath of the truck has been painted or polished to a showcar shine.
