You are bidding on a 1 owner special ordered 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive extended cab truck. I special ordered this truck when new just to get it painted this color from the factory. Its a fleet color called wheatland yellow. I added a painted to match fiberglass bed cover also. I also have installed custom LED taillights,a custom grille and headlights, chrome 20" wheels with 275/55/20 KUMHO tires. The tires have about 10K miles on them and the wheels are just starting to get some pitting around the spokes. I put them on about 3 years ago. It has the original black cloth interior that is very clean and in excellent condition. An Alpine stereo radio was installed. The truck has 168K miles on it, but I just recently up graded it mechanically this past winter. A complete brake job was done. All new brake calipers, pads, rotors, brake lines, bearings, seals and shocks were replaced on the front and rear. A new ring and pinion with all new bearings and seals was installed in the traction lock rear end. The A/C was all redone including the compressor and all belts and pulleys. The engine and trans has just been serviced with new oil and filters. The engine has new plugs and wires. The truck has been serviced every 5K miles since new, so if anything needed attention, it was fixed. I don't know of anything that is wrong with it because I have fixed everything known. I just bought a new truck and that is the only reason I'm selling this one. It looks as good as the new one. So you would be hard pressed to find another 2001 truck in this good of shape. If I had it to do over again, I would not have bought a new truck. I'd be keeping this one and saving my $40k that I just spent on the new one. FIRST TIME I LISTED THIS AS SALVAGE! THOUGHT I HIT CLEAR! TITLE IN HAND! NOT SALVAGE TITLE! This is a great old truck. It drives great. Starts everyday! I am gonna try and give the best description I can. The body is straight the paint is good. The interior is perfect. I don't have a radio in it. All the lights work, brakes are good, motor and transmission is good. It spends the majority of its time in the garage. You are welcome to drive it tires and wheels new.. I have to many vehicles and I am just getting tired of moving cars around just to drive something. You can call me for any questions at 618-923-0730. The truck is not a show truck but it can been easily done. Air conditioning works. I replaced the heater core all works! The title is not salvage! Clean title and it came from a good home. Sorry for confusion I didn't see where it said salvage. It is not salvage!
