1997 GMC Sierra C 1500. Is for sale 2500.00 or best offer as is there a slip in the transmission when you come to a complete stop the go you can feel it come and go some time it do it other time don't. I talk to a grage transmission for the price of having it rebuilt for one year or less warranty is the same as getting a new transmission with a warranty of 3 years. he said I wouldn't get the 3 year warranty. I'm like why not they should. I gusts keep getting a run around that way I'm selling it. I was going to have it painted so I have to get that cancel. It a very quiet. Some times I think it the rear axle from the rust spot on top of the axle and not the transmission I did not have it check it out. I hate to have it rebuilt then next year it would go out some people said to put a use one in it to cold outside I don't have a garage. I put a lot of other work into it like oil changes, tires, radiator and dex-cool antifreeze. front brakes pads, brakes lines, Brake Power Booster, sparks plugs & wires, Alternator, body work and have rear bed and frame work done take the rusted bad parts off put on better parts. I had it in for inspection the instructions PASS but the Emissions FAILED due to the silp and engine light was on. They want the rear brake shoes be replaced the pads have cracked and wiper blades and the wipes motor not working right. Exterior is clean with excellent gloss no clear flake, no major dents or scrapes, very glossey looking, mint frame, straight sides, spray in liner w/5th wheel hitch, inside its never been smoked in all the toys working that I tried, smells good no dash cracking, heated soft leather seats, gauges all work. Mchanically just the best you will find, I just installed new track bar bushings and 4 brand new cooper 10 ply radials with alignment and new power steering box and a SB air cleaner system. Good brakes good exhaust, hit the key the cummins fires right up, looks like the injection pump and fuel system was also just installed in there. Mechanically I don't think you will find a better running cummins guys, I had all 5 syncros and the tranny pretty much redone with a new clutch disc this past month, also all 4 ball joints just installed with a fresh set of track bar bushings and alignment, also I see where the previous owner had a new injection pump recently dropped in,trust me guys to drive this gal is to love her, the batteries fire it right up, great power without any chips or programs ever, no lifts or other mods on this adult owner truck, that new tranny shifts like butter smooth all 5 gears, those new ball joints track her down the interstate like an arrow. Good brakes I also installed all new e brake cables it works perfect, has the 06 Ram 2500 alloys, overall real solid mechanically, tires and exhaust are at the limits and will need changed out in the near future, there are so many options to go with on these 2 items I dropped the price from 11995 to 10995 and let that up to you guys. I went all over it mechanically, several new injectors, also previous owner installed new reman tranny at 200K recipt in glove box. Body is 100% rustfree with most of the orig paint in good shape too, frame is flawless, nice leather interior, good rubber, tight front end with new wheel berrings and alignment, good brakes and exhaust, very sharp truck in need of nothing, you can spend more if you want to elsewhere but wont find a nicer 7.3 for the money!!! Yes normal wear and tear to be expected like rock chips small dings and scratches and minor interior flaws, but she runs out 100% good power, shifting good, tight front end, no blow by or oil burn, super sweet truck!! Truck has been very well maintained, no rust ever mint frame, nice glossey emerald green and real straight unworked body, drives excellent good power nice tight front end, all gauges working, 100% bone stock with no lifts, no programmers, no pump hacks, this is a must see and must drive vehicle, no leaks no blow by, fires right up no problem, good miles for year no accidents!!Few things to note please keep in mind its a 20 year old pickup but trust me probably nicer than 99% of all 97's out there, wear and tear inludes rock chips on paint, small scratches, some minor parking lot dings, interior wear, and 4th gear has a light syncro grind if not careful shifting, e brake needs tightend, otherwise she is a beauty in every way, again lowball offers will not get my response so please don't call these trucks are the best diesels ever built and there are not many out there, looking for something good get this, want a headache or a rustbucket go to craigs and pay less, always remember you get what u pay for!!!

He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks pretty good and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast.
