For sale is a 901 Packard. It is a wonderful senior Packard with a wonderfully running engine and shifting transmission. The car is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition and ready to tour anywhere. The fenders have just been repainted and the running boards have been restored with the correct rubber. All of the hardware has great chrome and everything works. As for the bad, in comparison to the freshly painted fenders, the body does show some age, it polishes nicely but dose have the usual chips and wear marks that you would expect from a previous restoration. The pictures should show the great overall condition of the car.

This old girl has 54,200 ORIGINAL miles. The original owner last had it inspected and registered in 2008. Runs and moves under its own power. the car is COMPLETE minus one piece of chrome trim on the bottom of the rear passenger side door. All the body metal is solid with the exception of the rear passenger door which does have a hole in it. Nice Patina to the car - my original plan was to clear coat it and leave it as is. Rear brakes were re-done last summer, Carb was rebuilt (comes with an extra). Definitely needs a tune up, and the fluids changed, but again - she DOES run and drive. All the glass is good - no cracks. All the windows go up and down. All the door handles work. Ignition Key does the locks as well. Separate key for the Trunk. No key for the glove box. The bad - front floor pans and trunk pan will need to be replaced. Rocker panels too. Headliner has a a couple holes, and the front seat will need to be re-upholstered. The rear seat has been protected by an old vinyl cover and is original underneath. Look at the pictures - feel free to ask questions. Like most guys selling a classic - for me this an issue of time and I just don't have it to give her. I hope someone else does! Car is sold as is. Recently purchased and brought back to life after 40 years of sitting idle....the flathead 8 still purrs, the trans still shifts, the clutch isn't frozen, and yes it has brakes....Not the best, but they work! As does most of the electrical system{lights, guages}, still a 6 volt positive ground system, car is absolutely original and 99% complete right down to the bumper jack and hub cap with trim ring on the spare tire...Has s nice, straight body for it's age, does have rust as any east coast car will, but the worst is confined to floorboards..including trunk floor, but there is no reason why this car cannot go black again !! Interior is all there, upholstery is essentially shot but it's all there....Any trim missing in the pics I do have except for one section for the right quarter between the door and fender skirt.. Engine will start on 12 Volts{starter is tired}, fuel tank needs flushing...running off a separate container....The car is a candidate for full restoration, but is a great starting point, lots of potential....and it does have a clear title documenting the actual mileage at 84K!
