This 54 Packard Caribbean is in Tennessee near Nashville where it is meticulously stored and driven on nice days and special occasions. The car was 100% restored 9 years ago and runs like a champ and still looks pristine. The car shows well and has many awards to its credit. The Caribbean was seen at large car shows in Nashville and then was invited to an inclusive invite only Concours show where it competed against 10 other exceptional Packard's from this era and it won 2nd place and I bet the shrewd judges had to flip coin between first and second. Everything is correct down to the bias ply tires that drive very well. Mileage shown is correct to car. The rebuilt the 359 Straight 8 is correct with higher compression aluminum head. The block has over bore.030 and crank was turned .010 and .020. New valves and lifter were installed. This motor makes the Caribbean cruise. Many hard to find NOS parts were located and used through out. The late Bob Aller of Packard mechanical fame was very instrumental in providing his abundant knowledge of Packards in getting this car correct to factory standards. He rebuilt the transmission and steering components and advised. The interior was done in correct red and white leather with correct seat buttons put in place. The under side is very clean and has a little road dust on it from being enjoyed. All hydraulics and electrics work has should. The owner’s plans have changed and wants to move this beauty to a new home. No disappointments. You can call 931-432-6377 8-5 Central time with questions or comments I also have video of this car driving I could email. Fly into Nashville and inspect. Sells world wide....

This car was built as a True Gentleman's Cruising car with the most modern creature comforts. This car is amazing to look at and drive. This is vehicle is out of a collection of Packards from the 50's. Soon the others will also be for sale in the near future!!. GET Ready!! This car was custom built for a customer to have a perfect family classic cruiser. This car sports dual A/C, Mustang II power rack and pinion steering. A 2005 LSII schedualed to go into a 2005 SSR Chevy Truck but never made it. The motor was purchased brand new has well has the 4L60 -E. The combo was complete down to the twin cat convertors. The original steering column and shifter are used and works perfect. The fuel tank was custom built by Rock Valley Tanks and is Stainless with in board fuel pump. The stock Packard rear drive was rebuilt and retained has the gearing was very cloes to the SSR truck ratio. There is no short falls on this car. It is a beautifull example of classic Packards from that time period. The body is very straight and rust free. The car was 100 % dismantled, blasted and repaired of any rust. The stock chassis was modified for new drive train combo then disassembled and blasted, primed and painted. Now lets talk chrome. There is alot chrome on this car and from Packards in 1950 through 1955. It is loaded with every Senior series piece that was found. All chrome work was replated and even the Stainless Steel trim was chrome plated to give that extra gleam we love. The interior window cranks are NOS units from a senior series car and made to touch and the windows go up and down electrically. The stock guages were sent away and full set of electric gauges were built to keep track of the motor. The stereo/ radio was custom built for the Packard dimensions and had the packard name silk screen on so the original type look would be retained. When I put this car on here before I received feed back about it being a four door. This is one four door I personally love driving and everyone that has seen it in person and rode in it agrees it is just to cool. How many four door $60,000 - $80,000 trucks are there that get sold everyday. Everyone loves four door trucks. This car loves 75 MPH and will go way beyond. It is has comfortable or more so than many new cars and get 23 MPG. I could see this car being driven and enjoyed to any National Packard Meet and probably win a custom class. While the rest of the contestants and loading up their trailer queens in car trailers and hoping in the four door pulling trucks, you can hop in crank up the twin A/C and crank up the tunes and drive home. There are pictures before, during, and after pictures at www.midsr.com The car is for sale at $45,000 and that is firm. This car cost much more than that to build. Much more. The car was built in 2008 and has logged 4170 miles and it still is a new old car. Car is mint. Fly in Drive home. Will sell to anywhere in the world. Buyer is responsible for any deliveries. Call with any questions or comments. 931-432-6377 ask for Al Morgan

This 53 Packard Clipper is one of a kind. Yes, it is a four door but was built for the family guy to carry them and friends in comfort, class with all the modern amenities. This car recived a full body off restoration in 2008-2009 and the old straight 8 and automatic were replaced with a new crate motor off the GM assembly line scheduled to go into an 2005 SSR Chevy truck. It is a 390-400 HP version and then it was mated with a new 4L60E transmission for excellent performance on the highway and in town driving. At our web site you can see the amount of work that went into this vehicle. Who are we? Midsouthern Restoration in Cookeville, Tennessee. The web address is www.midsr.com and hit the Packard link. The restoration pictures will help in your decision to purchase this car. The pictures posted here are of the imaculent car in late 2014. I also have videos of car driving if you email through ebay your address to send to. The car received a Mustang II front suspension and power rack and steering. New rear heavy duty leaf springs hold the stock rebuilt rear drive. The Packard design has proved it self to be a good partner in the drivetrain combo chosen. More creature comforts consist of dual front and rear A/C. It is great to cruise around on a hot summer night with window down getting cooled by the rear. The four windows are all electric and are switched by the finger up/down by NOS Senior series original cranks from a 55-56 Packard. There is a custom made stereo made to fit the stock dash and a 10 changer cd player in trunk. The stereo even has the Packard name on it. The automatic is shifted by the original Packard column and shifter has the detents worked perfect for this set up. The gas pedal is drive by wire new for a 2006 GTO. This is what we thought Packard would of made this car in 53 if they had the 2008 technology. The interior pictures speak for them selves. The exterior was loaded with all the $12,000 worth of cool re-chromed pieces from the senior series cars from 51 - 55. If you know Packards, you will then recognise. The car is a beauty for sure and when it went to its first car show it won Best of Show. It has placed high in preceeding shows and is in a magazine with shots from a show in Nashville. This car would be awesome to actually drive anywhere to your next Packard event and enjoy the ride. The trunk will easily haul the luggage. The sweet spot on the I-State is 75-80 MPH and from there it will take off and power pass most others. Slowing down is made easy thanks the front large slotted rotors and GM brakes. When you drive expect many thumbs up and cell cameras going off in the car next to you. You won't fill up much with fuel has the car does register 23 MPG but when you stop to fill up the Custom Made Stainless Steel tank you might be awhile has it draws crowds and everyone want to check it out. The instrument cluster looks stock but is actually a custom made electronic unit made to match motor. There are no known short comings of car and the mileage on the odometer is correct at present 4045 since total resto. The color is Ford Wimbledon White. Fly into Nashville and we pick you up. Test drive, pay cash, cruise home. We can answer any and all ? about this car because we built it. Price is firm at 45 grand as this car has triple that invested. 931-432-6377 Al Morgan

Here is a 1953 Packard Clipper that we custom built for a customer back in 2007. We are MidSouthern Restoration in Cookeville, TN. This customer had many cars restored and serviced here and after several years wants to thin down his car collection to make room for more. This car was built with comfort in mind and was built to be driven anywhere, anytime. The ultimate family classic cruiser with all the creature comforts and amenties of a modern car. The customer wanted a four door from the 50's with a new powertrain and suspension for drivability. A local "old car" car lot had this Packard Clipper for sale and it was the canidate for the project. The pictures posted here show the end result six years after it was complete. You can go to our web site www.midsr.com and check out the Clipper and story in 24 pictures start to finish if you look under Packard on the home page. You can see the level of restoration to build this car to better inform you of bidding. This Packard was a full frame off and the old car had minimal rust to repair. The new 2005 LSII that was scheduled to go into a 2005 SSR Chevrolet truck was bought new on a crate from a dealer who buys left overs off the production line. A new GM 4L60E 4 speed automatic was purchased to compliment the motor and mated together. The front of the chassis received a new modern Mustang II front suspension with power rack and pinion steering and large crossed drilled front rotors for the disc brakes. A Corvette style master cylinder was installed on firewall to handle the braking. The original Packard rear end with a perfect gear ratio was rebuilt and used and has proved to be very worthy. There are drum brakes on the rear. Electric fans were used in conjuction with an NOS revamped Packard radiator to keep the motor cool. The SSR engine cover had to be purchased seperately with a VIN from a SSR Chevy truck. Once the body was smoothed out and all Senior Packard Chrome was found and fit, the body was painted Wimbledon White and reassembled. The chrome parts are from 51,53, 54 and 55 Packards and much $$$ was spent on rechroming to show status. The original guages were sent out and proffesionally rebuilt and converted to electronic to match the motor. The original steering column was retained, but shortened to keep the original big wheel out of your face. The original shifter was modified to run the four speed automatic and a trophy shop cut a new indicator showing where the gears are. Vintage Air provided the two A/C units. There is one in the front and a trunk unit. You stay cool in this car. The rear one works well for hot night cruising when you roll down the electric windows and want to be cool. The power windows work with a touch up or down on the rare NOS Senior series car window cranks. The car radio was custom built to fit the original hole with no modifications. The Packard logo was silk screened on the face. The radio is a MP3 player with AM/FM stereo and a 10 CD changer in the trunk. The customer picked the old looking red fabric design and white leather type material to create a clean stunning interior. The front and rear seats are more comfortable than most home couches. The motor is drive by wire with 2006 GTO gas pedal and if the check engine light comes on, the computer can be scanned for problems. This has never occurred and car runs out sweet. There was a custom made Stainless Steel fuel tank fabricated that fits in the original place perfect with a high pressure electric pump inside. The body underside and inside body shell has had spray liner applied to aid in noise reduction. The car is whisper quiet untill the motor comes to life. A large quiet muffler was installed. The factory "Cats" are still on the car and it records 23 MPG. This car cost much to build and selling price will be a fraction of that. The odometer shows it was driven about 4050 miles. It placed first at the very first car show entered and has been in magazines from a Nashville TN show. This is a classic family cruiser with awesome power and looks. Fly in drive home. Only serious bidders only. You better have a higher ebay score of 5 to bid or will be dropped. You can call Al Morgan for more info 931-432-6377.
