1952 Packard 300 I will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer.Just an amazing Packard! This was a car that we had plans to drive and show occasionally, but sometimes life has other plans, and we have decided to sell it to someone who we hope will give it a good home. I believe this will be both a fun car and a great investment for the next owner. Now you don't have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks!! Wow, what a car.. "Ask the man who owns one!" Details/Features:288ci Straight Eight Engine Rare 3 Speed Manual with OverdrivePower BrakesAir ConditioningNew Wide White Wall TiresFender SkirtsBumper GuardsDeluxe RadioElectric Clock12 Volt Electrical SystemSeat BeltsRecent check up, tune-up, etc. The engine idles well, makes good power, and starts well every time. The transmission shifts smoothly. Steers and stops very easy! The power brakes take no effort at all and it steers super easy. Drives straight down the road with no unusual vibrations, pulling, etc. The speedometer and other gauges work great. Clock ticks, but radio is currently in-op..The Factory Packard air conditioning works! The car is an absolute pleasure to drive! If you're a Packard fan, but are scared of the Ultramatic Transmission, here's a rare opportunity.. The 12 volt system is a plus too (makes for more consistent starting). This is a beautiful car everywhere you look (exterior, interior, engine compartment, trunk, etc). Nice straight body and good under-carriage. Looks great at all the shows and cruise-ins! A regular trophy winner! Purchased in North Carolina and brought to Florida later in life ... It may not be a absolutely flawless or a 'perfect' car, but it SURE IS NICE! It will fit in your garage and look great there ;) I welcome any/all personal inspections from a potential buyer in person, but I will not work with inspection companies. Shown by appointment only. Drive home or I can help ship this car to your door at a reduced rate via enclosed transport. If you are a long distance or overseas, I will try to work with you on the shipping. Please contact me for details. I reserve the right to end the listing early at any time for the right offer. The car could be for sale locally as well. **All offers considered** If you need help financing, I would suggest contacting a great company such as JJBest. They are easy to work with. I'm putting up for your consideration 1951 Packard 300 Ash Green in color. This is a fine example of an automobile that once rolled off the Packard assembly line in the heart of the Motor City. This little gem has only 26,037 original miles logged on her. She is powered by 327 cu. in. Thunderbolt in line eight and accompanied by a smooth Ultramatic transmission a option for 51. As the brochure once said, The New, All New Packard- the One for '51 with * New Packard Thunderbolt engine * New Guide-line safety fenders * New 1951 Packard Ultramatic Drive * New Armor-rib body construction *New hush tone soundproofing * New Fashion Forum interiors * New level bedded, Broad beam suspension. " All new, ask the man who owns one". This vehicle came out of my fathers estate and was his pride and joy. I can only hope the new owner will enjoy this car half as much as he did.
