You are looking at a very nice 442 with well documented 1-family ownership. The car starts easily, runs strong, doesn't smoke, and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The engine was rebuilt many years ago using a period correct block. It drives and brakes straight and true as well. We performed some general maintenance because the owner had not driven the car in years. The gas tank and sending unit were replaced, along with all brake lines, hoses, and master cylinder. There is also a brand new starter. The top motor is a bit weak and may need replacement, but it does go up and down. This car will need a new top and some body work for some minor dents and dings. There appears to be some hail damage to the hood and trunk as well as a couple dents on the driver door and right rear quarter. The chassis is completely solid and straight with no signs of collision damage. There is only spotty surface rust on the chassis mixed in with original undercoat. Nothing that a wire brush can't fix. All the floors are original with no rust. There is a small spot of rust under the battery tray, that's it! This wonderful survivor is priced to sell, so don't miss out!!! Up for sale is my 1986 Oldsmobile 442. This is a completely untouched, original car. I purchased this car from the original owner's family, and he was still driving it to and from work. The car runs and drives well. All of the original equipment is in tact. The car has 83,000 original miles. The paint has the typical GM fading/checking for this era over the whole car. The interior is complete and in good shape with only one tear in the driver's seat but has some sun fading. There are only (3) spots of rust on the exterior of the car: one is on the driver's side rear fender behind the wheel, and the other two are on the bottom of each door. You will be able to see this in the photos. There is no rust/rot in the trunk. Under the hood everything is original but will need a new dip stick tube to be installed. I do have a brand new NOS dip stick tube that comes with the car. I have all original documents such as: window sticker, warranty booklet, sales brochure, owner's manual in original jacket with "Oldsmobile" steno paper. This 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2-Door car is a survivor vehicle that is in excellent condition. The interior still looks and smells new... all the way down to the GM rubber floor mats. All of the accessories work on this vehicle. The exterior is in excellent condition also ~ no rust anywhere. It still retains a large part of its original paint. All of the chrome is original and in great condition. The under-side is as clean as the top-side. I bought this vehicle from the original owner's estate, and the car was and is garage kept. The entire drive line of this car operates like new. This car has a 260 V-8 engine, and it has four brand-new, correct size, white wall tires with less than 200 miles on them. It also has a brand new Delco battery, and anything that was replaced on the car (through the years) was replaced with Delco parts. For sale is my Oldsmobile Cutlass Supeme Convertible with optional and very powerful V6 3.4 DOHC. I bought this car back in 2006 with 112k miles and it had broken timing belt and chain inside the engine was damaged with gears. I had the engine redone with new chain, new gears and whole timing belt and gears brand new. After that fuel regulator was changed and transmission tuned up with new filter and fluid. Since then car only drove for about 7k miles until my kids were born and wife didn’t let me drive it with kids so car was stored in my garage since then and once in a while started up and drove around the block and doing little projects on it on spare time. Car has a lot of new parts in it but also needs little work on it especially convertible top. Alternator was changed couple years ago but since ten car was driven less than 1k miles on it so alternator hasn’t seen much use, last year i changed brake rotors, brake pads and calipers on the back. This year i had brand new rotors, calipers and pads installed (less than 10 miles on them) they didn’t even rust yet. New tires were put on it also about 20 miles on them, brand new hydraulic pump for the convertible and one of the pistons were installed and other one i have sitting in the box still brand new. Brand new battery was installed in May or June. Car drives and starts without a problem but two years ago while it was in a garage it developed a power steering leak which i didn’t fix yet and also rear started making noise don’t know if its bearing making noise or just rust from sitting. Convertible top is one that needs work the most since the fabric is showing its age and slowly stitches are just letting go but there is no holes in it. One of the supports of the convertible top is cracked when friend of my tried to close the top manually before pump was replaced and broke on of the supports. I have a replacement part bought for this and rear little triangle window just needs somebody to have install it. I also have a lot of extra parts for this vehicle since this is my second Olds convertible and had 2 Coupes before so i needed a lot of parts for my cars. I have extra hood, trunk, moldings, bumpers, middle console, transmission cooler, plus i have a HUD (heads up display) from my old Cutlass Supreme International i was going to have it installed in this one but never had time. I will look for all the extra little parts i have for this car since i don’t have plans on owning another Cutlass Supreme so i want to include all of those with the car. Reason i am selling is because i had this car for too long and lost interest in this particular car and bought a SAAB convertible and want to invest in my new toy then one i got little bored with.
