1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31 Cutlass "S" This is a real deal, documented RAM ROD. One of only approx 500 produced and the only one known with Black exterior and Red Interior. I had always subscribed to the 674 number for total production, but have been advised, by those who follow these cars that this was total engines produced. It still maintains a lot of originality and has not been restored. It runs and drives good as it is, and can be used and enjoyed as such but will need to be completely restored in order to be a maximum points show car. The body overall is very solid, with repairable rust at the bottoms of the front fenders and back of the rear quarters. Trunk Pans and floor pans are very solid. Frame is very dry and clean too. Full owner history from the original owner up to today is known and documented. We are the fourth owners of the car. Sold new at Martin Oldsmobile in VA who also sponsored a Ram Rod Super Stocker in 1968 The interior seat covers were replaced and are NOT correct. The car has an original protecto plate and warranty booklet, dealer invoice and factory line sheet. It has been inspected and certified by Stephen Minore / Rocket Report. Original 3.91 rear and M21 Muncie transmission with replacement over the counter 350ci Ram Rod Engine. There are not many surviving Ram Rods with history as well as documentation. A Radio delete plate was added by a previous owner, was original AM Deluxe radio car. Has all correct Ram Rod parts. We have replaced the carpeting since pics were taken. Engine oil and filter was changed as was trans fluid, brake fluid and rear gear lube with gear inspection. Bidders with minimal feed back, will need approval prior to bidding.
