1968 Oldsmobile Ram Rod W31 Cutlass "S" This is a real deal, documented RAM ROD. One of only approx 500 produced and the only one known with Black exterior and Red Interior. I had always subscribed to the 674 number for total production, but have been advised, by those who follow these cars that this was total engines produced. It still maintains a lot of originality and has not been restored. It runs and drives good as it is, and can be used and enjoyed as such but will need to be completely restored in order to be a maximum points show car. The body overall is very solid, with repairable rust at the bottoms of the front fenders and back of the rear quarters. Trunk Pans and floor pans are very solid. Frame is very dry and clean too. Full owner history from the original owner up to today is known and documented. We are the fourth owners of the car. Sold new at Martin Oldsmobile in VA who also sponsored a Ram Rod Super Stocker in 1968 The interior seat covers were replaced and are NOT correct. The car has an original protecto plate and warranty booklet, dealer invoice and factory line sheet. It has been inspected and certified by Stephen Minore / Rocket Report. Original 3.91 rear and M21 Muncie transmission with replacement over the counter 350ci Ram Rod Engine. There are not many surviving Ram Rods with history as well as documentation. A Radio delete plate was added by a previous owner, was original AM Deluxe radio car. Has all correct Ram Rod parts. We have replaced the carpeting since pics were taken. Engine oil and filter was changed as was trans fluid, brake fluid and rear gear lube with gear inspection. Bidders with minimal feed back, will need approval prior to bidding. Here we have a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 2 door Holiday Coupe Turnpike Cruiser, This car has the rare L66 Turnpike Cruiser package. It is documented with the original window stickers, it was purchased new in Tacoma Washington. This car has the original 400 E block C head engine like the 442 came with. Yet these are a two barrel from the factory, It has the original TH400 automatic switch pitch transmission, (like the 442 came with) it also has the special 2:56 rearend exclusive to the L66 Turnpike Cruiser. This package is very rare and special. I will post a link to the road test information about these awesome high speed highway cruisers. This car has the original engine that has been rebuilt professionally in Gresham Oregon. I have the reciepts and machinists build notes. That and lots of other reciepts and information is put into a binder that goes with the car when purchased. The transmission is the original 67 OH code Th400 for this car. It has been rebuilt, The rearend is the correct and original 2:56 ratio and has been resealed and inspected with no issues. The drum brakes have been rebuilt all around. The master Cylinder and brake booster are also fresh. The Engine has all new hoses and belts, new fuel pump, carburetor is the correct original 2 barrel and has been professionally rebuilt and recolored as it should be. The radiator has been serviced and is correct, belts are new. The distributor has been upgraded to a pertronix for more effective spark. The exhaust has been replaced with full 2 1/2 dual with a cross over and flowmaster mufflers. The suspension has all new bushings, tie rods, balls joints, springs and shocks. The car has been repainted the original color Y code Saffron Yellow. The original vinyl top has been replaced as it came new. the windshield is new and has new seals. The weatherstrips are new for doors, roof rail, trunk, window felts and hood bumpers. The engine compartment has been detailed in the correct black, the correct and original Climate Combustion Control air cleaner has been restored and looks awesome. The original bumpers have been rechromed and the brackets have been powder coated. We finally found a decent set of Rally 1 wheels (like it came with new) for this car. So they are now on it with a fresh set of GT Performance radial 235 60 14 tires. This is one very nice car. The engine has been started and cam broke in with a full performance tune up. It has only a few miles on the drivetrain. The engine is not broke in yet. The trunk has been fully detailed with the correct jack, and jacking instructions as well as a new trunk mat. This car has the original never been rotten floors, doors, and body. The interior has been redone with new factory style seat upholstery on the correct and original split bench seat with an arm rest, new carpet, and new headliner. As you can see by the original window sticker the car came new with SS1 wheels. Yes I have the original window sticker and it will be included with the vehicle. The Turnpike Cruiser package L66 comes with the 400 E block 2 barrel 300 horsepower engine, boxed rear control arms with rear swaybar and all the rest of the suspension upgrades same as a 442. These cars were made to cruise the (turnpikes, interstates, highways) at high speed and get decent fuel mileage from a big block musclecar. These are the ultimate factory sleeper. 1978 Olds Cutlass Salon Brougham w/ 442 package. 305 4bbl, rare saginaw 4 speed (reblt) w/ a Hurst Shifter. Options, PS, PB, Tilt, Cruise, AC (not working), Gauge package w/Tach, bucket seats (passenger seat reclines), rear defrost, recent dual exhaust. Out of 2541 Olds 442s built in 1978, 1180 of them were built in the Cutlass Salon Brougham body, and 1-3% of them came with a 4 speed and only with a 305 engine, which puts the production numbers somewhere between 11-35. The car is not perfect, but it is solid and about 99% complete, only missing the Horn emblem for the sport wheel (sport wheel included, missing the factory Air cleaner, and the AC compressor. This car is my daily driver, its weird, its odd but always gets thumbs up even with bad paint. The car does have a new battery, It does have nice "OOOMPAAA -OOOMPAAA" dual glass packed exhaust, the engine doesnt use oil, but it does make a puff of smoke when you first start it up valve guides), which is why I had a set of heads redone for the car, its just the front shocks that are worn, the 4 speed was overhauled prior to me, but has less than 3000 miles on it, the clutch works fine, it just has a little chatter when you first start out, Im sure the pressure plate and/or flywheel needs to be turned, Seattle hills are hell on clutches, The gauges work including tach however the oil pressure gauge has a mind of its own, ive added a new sending unit, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, there is an owners manual, the jack, jack base and tire iron is all there, I do not have a spare for it. the bumpers on both ends are VERY straight and bright, the only dent it had when I got it was in the RF fender, it had a crease, so I replaced it with another 442 fender, it has new headlights, and I also have another set of taillights for it as well. I imagine the A/C would work if it had a compressor and a pressure hose, thats the only thing missing, the cruise did work until the other day, Im thinking it is a fuse, I have not researched that yet. YES, the car runs great, but could most likely use a tune up, the spark plug brand is "MIGHTY", which I know my dad used in his shop back in the 80s, but it has ran so good this far I havent bothered to change them,.. heres my 1987 cutlass 442, shes has a rebuilt olds 350 rocket paired with the bulletproof TH350, engine holds great oil pressure, fires right up, never overheated, solid as a rock, take it to it moon and back if u want, has true dual exhaust from the headers into an H pipe that produces the sweetest oldschool rumble, has front disc brakes prevoius owner had about 1k of break work done, 17in american racing wheels all around with bfgoodrich sport comp 2 tires (235/45/17) interior is original and surprisingly very well kept, the paint is nice for the most part, has sum cracking on hood, few small rust spots/bubbling shown above, couple chips and such, its a drivers car no milage to worry about, shes been nothing but joy and smiles from everyone, i cant count the number of honks, thumbs up and long conversations at the pump, shes about as turn key as u can find, 300 hp, 320 torq, factory 3.73 posi rear end, just an awesome car to cruise around in, also the last year made dont miss out!! any questions just drop a message willing to work a deal out. car being sold as is, no warranty

Car has a 1971 455 Big Block engine that paired with the dual exhaust straight pipe makes the convertible hum. The convertible top is a power top that works great. The body, the engine, the trans all are great. There are no issues with the car. However, with that said this is not a car show queen. It is a car that my family and kids love and have treated well and have used for weekend picnics and trips to get ice cream. The car is owned by a non-smoker. Price is $13,500 Vehicle is sold AS-IS
