For Sale: 1982 Datsun / Nissan 280ZX Targa Engine: 2.8L I6 with 145 HP Drivetrain: Manual Transmission and Rear-wheel-drive This 280ZX needs a little work to bring it back on the road. It is pretty clean and the engine is running. However the car is not drivable at the moment because of its front end damage. It’s a pretty easy fix that can be done at your home garage. Or use the Datsun as a parts car. It has almost new tires on the original rims, pretty new seats and the engine and the transmission/drivetrain is in working order. A plenty of other parts are also in good shape and usable. The Datsun has a Texas Salvage Title and can receive a blue title after rebuilding and passing inspection. See the pictures or check out yourself if you are able to fix that car. If so, you can drive a collectable and fast classic sports car for very little money! Warranty: All of our cars are sold 'as is' without any warranty. So please check the car thoroughly before you buy. We recommend to ask your trusted mechanic for checking out the car. The car must be paid in full before pick-up, delivery or shipping. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping of the car on his/her own costs. Generally you should pick-up the car at our location, but on request we are willing to deliver in Central Texas (New Braunfels and within a 250-mile radius) for $2.90 per loaded mile (Dallas-Fort Worth area ok). If you are outside our delivery radius, you can ship the car through u-ship or something like that. We'll cooperate with your chosen carrier. Fees and Tax: Because of its salvage title there is no need for registration at the time of purchase. Texas buyers have to pay the usual sales tax of 8.25% - but we do not collect any registration and/or titling fees. The sales tax is not included in the price and will be billed separately. Out of state buyers have to pay $49.00 service fee for out-of-state preparation. Foreign buyers (not US) have to pay $99.00 service fee for export preparation. Out of state and foreign buyers, who drive/transport the car immediately and directly out of Texas have not to pay for Texas taxes and Texas state fees.
