DUE TO EBAY RULES ABOUT VIN NUMBERS requiring 17 digits, THIS CAR IS LISTED AS A 1980, It is a 1989. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. This add is for a 1989 AUTHENTIC Right hand drive twin turbo Fairlady. This is NOT a conversion( or known as the 300zx in the states) It is 100% fed legal and was imported under the 25 year old law/exemption. You will be able to own and register this car without issue in any state. I have ALL of the legal documents that I will be including with the sale proving this car is federally legal, and imported into the USA LEGALLY. The car has 160,000 Kilometers on it, which translates to about 102,000 miles. Not many original RHD fairladys in the states, this is your chance to own something rare. The car is 26 years old and for its age its still in very nice condition. I have uploaded high res photos as well as a video below on youtube of a walk around ( If you cant see the video please message me, I can send the link sometimes if your viewing the add on a mobile devise it doesnt show) The interior is VERY nice with the exception of the driver side bolster having worn through in one spot. Other than this the interior is pretty immaculate. The exterior of the car still has its OEM shiny Silver paint. There are a few blemishes which I have pointed out in the photos. The worst spot is the rear bumper where it appears to have a spot where the paint flaked off right at the corner. If you would like closeups of anything please let me know. The car runs and drives very nice as well. AIR CON BLOWS ICE COLD Stereo works as does everything else. Locks, windows, wipers, lights ect ect. The T-Top seals are also in very good condition. I took it through a car was and it did NOT leak. The car pulls strong through the gears and does not spit/cut out/sputter at all. If you shift fast the car does occasionally grind going into 3rd gear. The car is fairly stock but has had some minor modifications done. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. This is a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTR AWD Twin Turbo with the RB26DETT motor and 5speed manual trans. BNR32-001004 It is listed as a 1980 due to ebays rules on vehicles newer than this requiring a 17 digit vin, JDM cars to NOT have a 17 digit vit. This cars vin is BNR32-001004 This car is FEDERALLY legally, and imported with ALL of the correct/legal paperwork such as the Bond Release. All import taxes/tariffs have been paid upon importing. Its 100% ready for the new owner. I have sold a few 1989 GTRs and they are all registered with the new owners and have had no problems. You will be the first registered owner in the USA. You can register just like any other vehicle in ANY state except Cali and Hawaii. (Due to local laws in those states) If you have any questions about this don’t hesitate to contact me. The car has had a FRESH pain job. The body is in great shape with not a single dent/ding/scratch. It was painted the OEM color. Its a True GTR (BNR32-001004)but previous owner had a GTS front bumper on it trying to go for the " sleeper " look. The front window trim is also not on the car, but I have a pair I will be including. It’s a nice stock base to build your dream beast with. It’s not a 100% perfect example but like i said the paint is in great shape, I have uploaded a video and provided a link at the bottom of this listing. Please be sure to check it out. It gives a great idea on the overall condition of the car. The main flaws on this car are its interior. It has a small aftermarket steering wheel that for me is too small, its also missing both door speakers, and grills that cover the speakers. The dash does NOT have cracks in it, and the door panels/seats are in good shape. It doesn't have floor mats and due to this the carpet is dirty/worn in the front. Mechanically the car starts up and runs/drives fine. I have a video at the bottom of the auction doing a few short pulls to show it pulls through the gears smoothly with no sputter/hesitation. Occasionally it grinds going into 3rd gear. Transmissions can be found on ebay for $500, I just don't have the time to replace it. The car also does not have Air Conditioning. The cars undercarriage is NOT all rusted out either. I took photos of under the car as many buyers want to see this so please be sure to look. If you have other questions just ask. It give a great idea on the overall condition of the car. The interior also is in good shape, the only flaws being the driver seat bolster and the driver door panel. CAR IS LOCATED IN BOISE, IDAHO.Up for sale is one of the very few FEDERALLY LEGAL Skyline GTS-T’s in the USA. I have obtained a LEGAL USA title ( Idaho title and it's in my hands) from the legal paperwork from the US customs, EPA, and NHTSA showing it was legally imported into the USA. All approved, stamped and taxes paid. I have a copy of the customs clearance paperwork I can provide to serious buyers. Many of the skylines you see for sale have “state titles” which means they were never legally imported. With these cars you have to worry about the feds coming after the cars due to them not being federally legal. This is not one of those cars. This was NOT imported in under the show or display rule either, which only allows 2500 miles of road use a year for the vehicle. This particular Skyline can be driven, and titled in any state 100% legally as it sits other than Hawaii or California, just as if you were buying any other car from a private party or dealer here in the USA. The mileage you can drive is unlimited. If you have any further questions just ask. This The car itself runs, drives and pulls great, it does not cut out or sputter when going through the gears. It’s running 12-13lbs of boost on the RB20DET and has a lot of supporting mods.. The mileage is right at 101,xxx KM, which translates to less than 63,000 miles. The car is 25 years old so it is not perfect some stuff does show wear, but it’s a great start for someone looking to slowly build one up. It does have a fresh paint job on it and looks nice. It’s not a show car paint job, but it’s a decent paint job. The entire car was painted, but it does still have some small dents that were not fixed. The hood looks like at one time it had some hail damage. I will try to show this in the photos but it’s hard and is only seen at certain angles it covers most of the hood but it’s very light. There is a dent on the roof corner right about the driver side door ( can see in pics) Other stuff I have tried to show in the photos. The driver side skirt is cracked by the front fender and has a few zip ties holding the front piece on. The rear passenger fender at the rear also has a little imperfection. Please see photos. If you have specific questions please just ask. The interior is in decent condition as well. It comes with a CD player, but it’s not hooked up. Has a WORKING heater and AC!
