The vehicle sustained fresh water damage. It appears that the previous owner drove through standing water which was sucked into the intake stalling the engine. We checked all of the vehicles fluids for water contamination. There were small traces of water in the engine. All of the other fluids were clean. We changed the oil and started this Altima with no issues. The interior of the vehicle was damp when it arrived to our shop. It appears that the water just got the floor wet. We replaced the carpet with carpet that was purchased new from the dealer. After installing the carpet the vehicle was ready to go. This Altima runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooling and/or electrical. After performing the precautionary maintenance the vehicle started right up without any problems. The drivers front carpet was slightly damp when the vehicle arrived. More then likely from when the from the previous owner was getting out of the vehicle after driving through the water. We pulled the interior, had it professionally cleaned and allowed it to dry over the course of a couple of days. After putting the interior back in the vehicle there were no other issues. This Altima now runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooling and/or electrical. There are no musty odors in the interior. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. All of the minor dents and body blemishes are visible in the photos.
