1996 300ZX Twin Turbo 59,000 Mile Unmolested Original - Rare Find!! It was owned by a women in her 60s who bought it originally. It was her pride and joy and sat in his climate controlled garage under a cover only to be brought out on sunny days. You couldn't ask for a better life than that for one of these rare cars since most of these beauties have been wrecked or modified by kids. This car is a a 5 speed. It has the original cell phone in the center console from the factory and the cell phone din in the dash. The 1996's are the last best best year of the 300zx. Gone is the ugly tweed interior which has been replaced by a nice suede material. It also has factory keyless entry with Power Windows and Locks for a more modern upgrade. Also gone is the short rubber spoiler that would rot off and replaced by a new taller and much better looking spoiler. This one of the rarest of the rare! Finished in the most iconic color scheme in Bright Red with Black Leather - you couldn't get a better optioned 300zx unless you ordered it from the factory. The car has a few dings but no dents or rust. 2 sets of original keys and 1 keyless entry remote is included. I have t-top shades and bags for the car as well as original owners manual. The tires are Toyo and put on in 2012. The Z32 was also awarded the Motor Trend "Car of the Year" award. The 300zx easily rose to defeat its competitors of the time including the Chevrolet Corvette Z51, FD Mazda Rx-7, Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4, Acura NSX, Dodge Viper, 993/968 Porsche Carrera 911 and even fought against the MKIV Toyota Supra Turbo with success. This 300 still stands out over most sports car of today. You do not have to take my word for it, in 2014 AutoWeek wrote an article titled "25 years later, the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo is still dreamworthy." Completely mechanically stock this thing hasn't been touched. Nissan certified 120k maintenance (timing belt, water pump, tensioners, belts, etc.) has just been performed. I will be as open and transparent about them as possible.There are minor dents and dings from age and from a tree collapsing on my garage. None of them are major. A good PDR guy could remove many of them.Broken glovebox latch. Will be attempting to fix shortly.Needs a new power steering pump. I have all new belts that I will provide.The clutch is slipping under high boost. It is very likely that a proper adjustment could fix the problem completely, otherwise it will need a new clutch in the near future (~$600 parts).It has been a very reliable car for me over the past decade. The major need would be the clutch and power steering. If you can do labor yourself, I would anticipate around 800-900 in parts. Should make around 450 flywheel horsepower as is. Potential for a lot more with upgraded fuel injectors and a boost controller. Could easily reach over 500hp and up into the 550 range with intercoolers and proper tuning.
