Beautiful Red 1993 Nissan 300ZX convertible. What a good car this has been!!! What a joy to drive! I am the 3rd owner. The car has been faithfully serviced and I have records of everything done since then. Mileage is 139,258. Car has never been wrecked.Black leather has been Restored, so it looks New on the inside.Paint is original, the reason you see the yellow at the bottom is that most if not all 300zx sit real low. Front Bumper was replaced with a yellow one and then painted red. Clear coat is starting to peel on the wing. see pic. Headlights look new, Most cars have them yellow. These are nice and clear. The car has been garaged kept. Canvas top and back window replaced July 2010. Tires good condition (about 15,000 miles on them). Here is your chance to own a classic piece of Nissan sports car history! I've had Four 300ZX's, it is an incredible sports car. 1993 Nissan 300zx Convertible 5 speed Manual. It has 150ish K miles and will keep going up Engine is strong. Only thing the car needs is body and paint work. As is she is gorgeous. I have completely redone the interior and sound system. I have a new shift boot for it somewhere.The convertible top had snapped on the previous owner, he didn't lock it in correctly and it flew open. So the car ended up with a rebuilt title. I had the top professionally welded, it was two spots where it broke. Top fits perfectly and had the cloth tightened. All new weather stripping as well. Also added the JDM center panel in the back that lights up. I was going to get the JDM tail lights, but havent done so yet. Car has staggered 18x8.5 F 18x9.5 R JDM wheels. Lowered on Eibach springs and Tokico Shocks. Full custom sound system, with custom speakers under where the top sits when open, along with a crossover amp, an amp in the trunk and a 12" subwoofer in the floor of the trunk. Double DIN radio with GPS, Bluetooth, DVD, CD, MP3, iPod connector in the glove box, and has rear view camera. Also installed HIDs in the headlights, and has a JDM front bumper with Veilside side skirts and rear bumper. Also has aftermarket exhaust. I have also installed a dual USB port for phone/ipad charging. Engine wise the car is solid, drives like a champ. The timing belt squeaks sometimes on a cold start up. I haven't changed it because I have a Twin Turbo engine I was going to swap. The convertible top opens and closes smoothly as well. For a 22 year old car she is in amazing condition. She is not perfect, she does need a little love on the exterior, but you can take her home and drive her without any problem as she is. CONs:Body could use some TLC. Paint chipping off the side skirts, as well as a few cracks in the fiberglass. The aftermarket fenders also have little paint cracks in them. I was going to replace the body kit with a TwinZ kit, and repaint the whole car, but now that I have to sell it, I decided to leave it for the next owner to do whatever they please with it. The beautiful thing about this car is there are so many different looks you can give it and the Z will look amazing in every which way! The ABS light comes on as soon as you move forward. I was told the ABS sensor just needs to be replaced. Just found out the Clutch fan isnt turning on. My mechanic says its probably an electrical issue. Maybe a bad ground. The shifter seems to be a bit loose. I think it is probably the shifter bracket. The rubber mount always goes bad on these cars. It's a $40 part you can find on here. if you BUY IT NOW, you also get the Twin Turbo engine I have sitting on a pallet. I bought a JDM TT engine to swap and never did. Engine comes with all accessories, turbos, wiring harness and ECU. I also have a Kevlar Timing belt, Used TT Radiator, AEM Standalone V1, 2.5" Intercooler piping with HKS style BOVs, and GSP Massive Side Mount Intercoolers. I may possibly have an SAFC II and Turbo Boost Controller. I'm sure I have some other random parts for it as well. The BUY IT NOW includes the car plus the whole engine and engine swap parts. All you would need is a TT A/C Condenser. If you are interested in just the car then make me an offer or send me a message. I am VERY motivated to sell this car due to my current situation. I prefer to sell it with the TT engine and everything so I can get rid of it all. The car is located in my garage in Miami, FL. If you are local and want to come take a look let me know. For sale is my 1993 Nissan 300zx Convertible. I bought this car as a project. My plans included converting the car to a manual transmission, from Naturally Aspirated to Twin Turbo and from Convertible to a full time roadster. Items needing attention:- Convertible top is in rough condition and leaks during heavy rain, needs to be replaced.- Original tan leather power seats stopped working and were replaced by previous owner with manual gray cloth seats which are in rough condition (covered by tan seat covers).- Has a suspected exhaust leak at the passenger side exhaust manifold.- Twin Turbo front fascia needs to be finished or replaced.- Dings and chipped paint in areas.- A/C needs to be recharged. Positives about vehicle:- Drives and runs well!- 120K Timing Belt service completed last year.- Excellent candidate for Twin Turbo swap.- Focal 165 CA 6.5" 2-way speakers installed. Cobalt Green Pearl with new Tan leather interior. All items work as new, no warning lights present in cluster, tans. shift smooth, great riding/driving car, A/C is ice cold and heater is hot. Hard to find in this condition, less than 1k of these were sent to the USA in 1996. All service is up to date.... This Cherry Red Pearl (official color name) 300ZX looks like its a one year old car. This is the 300ZX Convertible for the collector or simply for the person who appreciates premium quality. This may be the lowest mileage 300ZX currently for sale in the United States. It is in truly spectacular condition, far better than most Ferraris of a similar age. This is a super rare, special order 300ZX featuring a, from the dealer, special tan leather interior and matching tan top. You could likely look the world over and not find another 300ZX like this one. Its a well-known fact that over the last five years collector cars have been the best investment and now collectors are turning to the Japanese sports cars, with high-line auction companies like RM now featuring Japanese sports cars in their previously primarily European exotics auctions. This is the only known Cherry Red Pearl over a tan leather interior with a tan top known to exist new from the Nissan dealer. For 1994 there were reported only a total of 143 Cherry Red Pearl convertibles produced....and this is the only known Red/Tan model. By comparison, Ferrari manufactures thousands of Ferrari 458 spiders and the number of red 458 Ferrari spiders is likely in the thousands. In fact, Nissan only produced 3,486 300ZX convertibles over a four year period! To put this in perspective, Ferrari produced and around 7,177 Testarossas, 7,412 328s, 8,844 348s, 17,800 360s! In other words, a Nissan 300ZX convertible is far rarer than most Ferraris! As reported in the media: "Current data and speculation has Japanese cars rising in the classic car market where Ferraris and Porsches have a stronghold. According to market analysts and experts, and even Hagerty’s valuation charts, most classics from the Far East (we’ll call Japan that in this instance) are rising steadily." Unlike older Ferraris and Porsches, this ZX is cheap to maintain and built with traditional Japanese fit, finish, quality and reliability. This is a car you could store in your garage or drive daily. It runs spectacularly and looks nearly new. The paint is gorgeous. The leather interior love soft. The top looks nearly new. Original books, keys, including the rare Titanium key and the original window sticker are all included. The 300ZX was a revolution in automotive design when it came out just before the 348 Ferrari and is far better built. As a Ferrari owner, I can tell you this car is extremely impressive. More investment information: Eight years ago, Terry Yamaguchi paid $5,000 for a bright orange 1973 Datsun 240Z. A couple of years later, she sold the car for a little more than she paid for it. If only she had kept it. "Now, that car is worth $20,000," the vintage car collector said. It's not just the 240Zs. The value of Japanese classic cars has skyrocketed in recent years. A pristine Toyota Celica from the early 1970s can cost up to $20,000. A well-maintained Datsun 510 might go for as much as $25,000. And a Toyota 2000GT? Don't ask. A pristine 1967 version of the sports car sold at auction for almost $1.2 million in May 2013 — a record for a Japanese classic. A 1968 model sold this month at an auction in Monaco for just over $1 million. The experts don't see the market topping out any time soon, even if the collectors are sometimes accused of overpaying for certain classics. Former car dealer Malamut said a car expert at a well-known auctioneer called him an "idiot" when he paid $650,000 two years ago, setting a world record, for his Toyota 2000GT. A year later, a similar car sold for almost twice as much. The heartbreaker? Twenty years ago, Malamut had a chance to buy a 2000GT in good condition for only $65,000 — and passed it up.
