My 1985 Z-car is getting pushed out. I am the 2nd owner of the Z. All records are included. The first owner had her dealer serviced 75% of the time, other 25% was at local franchise lube place. I have all the receipts. I have owned many a Z car and consider myself a Z nerd. This one is really nice. 8 out of 10 overall. The photos were taken 7 days ago.The Pioneer stereo and all 4 speakers are new. I used a dealer installer to re run all the wires and installed a bluetooth microphone that is hidden in top left corner of front window for phone calls as the Pioneer is blluetooth as well. Full LED lights in the Pioneer. I chose this unit because the green matches the Z lighting schema perfectly. Original radio is included and you will get it as well. You will also get a few OEM oil filters and a few OEM fuel filters. Old owner had a case of filters and some air filters that i have used. He wanted all this z to always use Nissan parts. I had her tinted about 9 months ago. Texas sun and all. She is garaged every night! Paint is about a 7. You can see that it's kind of faded and losing the cherry red pop. Inside the Z is nice! 8.5. No rips or tears anywhere. Leather is soft and rubber on dashboard is NOT cracked anywhere. The only thing is that the stitching on the passenger seat is fraying. You can see it in the photo. Not even close to it. It really doesn't see the sun too often. I park in a garage for work, so she stays cool. All the interior lights work except the digital milage counter on the lower right part of the dash. It comes on once and a while, but mostly not. It's not a big deal really imho. The gas gauge works when it's full and when it gets low. In the middle it reads full. NO LEAKS, T-tops fit perfect. All original stickers are where they should be. All plastic trunk pieces are there. Also included are the t-top sun visors and t-top leather covers that the t-tops get stored in. Runs awesome and does not get driven hard. This is my baby Z and my daily driver. To and from work and then mostly garaged on the weekend unless going to car shows or drives with club friends. Starts up every time and is reliable as heck! Got new tires right before halloween. I have put less than 2 thousand miles on the car since purchasing it, with current mileage at 73,847. The car has been meticulously maintained, garage kept, and frequently covered. All service done to this vehicle was done at a Nissan dealership until the past year, and since then was done at the Austin Z Clinic. It’s a non-smoker car. The car came finished in Super White (color 326) on Charcoal Leather. Features include 3.0L 24 valve 222 HP V-6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission, speed-sensitive power steering, 4 wheel vented power disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, 4-WHL independent multi-link suspension, dual exhaust, T-Bar roof with glass panels, integrated fog lights, rear window wiper/washer, power adjustable drivers seat, automatic temp control system, power remote heated mirrors, power windows, power door locks, theft deterrent system, automatic power antenna, leather package with leather seating, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather shifter knob and leather handbrake, tachometer/oil pressure/temperature gauge package, and driver’s side airbag. Sticker Price was $33,570. The car has an all JL Audio sound system including an Alpine CDA-9855 head unit with remote control, a pair of XR650-CSi speakers in the front doors, a pair of XR650-CXi in the rear, and a set of JL tweeters. It has a Stealth box subwoofer with a 500/5 amp powering the whole system mounted inside a custom enclosure in the spare tire well (no spare tire currently in vehicle). All of the glass, lenses, lamps and bezels are original and in new condition with exception of the front left fog light which was just recently replaced. The rock guard below the trim line has been repainted due to a yellowing discoloration commonly seen in these cars. The windows have been tinted. All rims are original 16” aluminum alloy wheels. The engine compartment is in excellent condition with exception of a section of the cowling over the battery is missing and needs to be replaced. The spare tire and headlight aiming kit were removed to allow for the stereo installation and will come with the vehicle. There are no rips or tear is the leather – it is in nearly perfect condition especially considering the age of the car. The only blemish on the interior is the vinyl on the driver side T-top is pulled back and needs to be re-stretched. The seats, carpeting and dash are perfect. The car comes with an extra set of floor-mats still in the box. The car cover is an Evolution 4 (technalon material) purchased from Covercraft and includes a storage bag. It is in great condition and for indoor use only. There is a blemish on the left rear quarter panel in front of the fuel filler door that was touched up with Nissan touchup paint. From a short distance it’s almost unnoticeable. The previous owner said the car was involved in a minor accident when it spun out on gravel into a curb damaging the left rear wheel. The wheel was reconditioned and the lower suspension arm was replaced. None of the body was affected. Since purchasing I have placed a custom Labree Catback Exhaust with H-Pipe, aluminized steel piping and quad round tips. I had the shift lever bushing, center support bearing and link assembly replaced and also replaced the timing belt, thermostat, water pump, and radiator hose. As previously mentioned, I also replaced the left fog light. I replaced the tires with 225/50ZR-16 Continental Extreme Contact DW’s and they have approximately 2000 miles on them.

Very nice, clean, southern 2-owner, first-year Z31 Unmolested car that is mostly original – lots of recent maintenance. Runs and drives good – everything works, including cold AC. Mechanicals: The car starts easy and idles smooth. She’s cold-blooded, but once up to operating temp she runs strong and smooth. Car drives good – steering is tight, no pulling. Car shifts and stops good. This ZX has had recent timing belt, serpentine belt, tune up, starter, blades and bulbs. Good tires and exhaust. Just passed TX state safety inspection this week that certifies that brakes, tires, exhaust, lights, wipers, horn, and P-brake are good to go. Body: Incredibly solid southern, garage-kept car. The sides of the car still have their original paint in good shape – nice deep shine, minimal fade, only minor scratches, couple door dings. The top and hood were ‘treated’ to a so-so touch-up about a year and a half ago...color matches well, but the finish is a bit mottled/flat and has quite a bit of orange peel. Not bad, but not great – think a good wet-sanding/buff would make a huge difference. I found three teen-tiny bubbles of future rust starting around the windshield frame (photos available), but otherwise completely rust-free. Glass: All original in good shape w/light factory tint. T-tops fit well – no rattles, whistles or leaks. Interior: Believed to be completely original and in good shape. The dash has been covered for years, as you can tell by its excellent condition – all gauges work. The door panels are good, including original map pockets. The seats have held up surprisingly well...no real tears or split seams in the upholstery. The seats definitely show some wear and light staining, but not too bad. Headliner and visors are great. Some cracking around the rear speaker grilles. Amenities: This car is loaded: T-tops, auto w/overdrive, PW, PL, AC, cruise, courtesy voice (“lights are on”), nice stereo. Extras: T-top bags and straps are intact and included. Original owner’s manual and some sales brochures, records and receipts. Includes Chilton and Haynes manuals, and full service manual. Full disclosure: The gas cartridges for the hood are shot, and the ones for the hatch are weak. The passenger side seat belt was pulled all the way out and needs to be reset to work properly.
