IT IS THE CREAM OF THE CROP. CAR WAS RUST COATED WHEN NEW, SO ZERO RUST ON THE BODY, UNDERSIDE, WHEEL WELLS, ETC. ENGINE COMPARTMENT NEVER WASHED OFF. STILL HAS THE COSMOLINE. * Only non-stock items are the tires and battery. Last year of this iconic run that Datsun / Nissan had. This may very well be the lowest mileage 280 Turbo in existence. It belongs in an enlcosed car hauler. 1983 Nissan 280ZX Turbo - Built 6/83, so one of the last ones off the production line ( exact verification pending ) - Bought brand new at John Sisson Nissan. Gorgeous Champagne metallic / Red w/ the TURBO decal package - 100% orig. paint / interior, except the tires and battery. It has been meticulously cared for and garage kept. The Champagne metallic paint has been climate stored since new. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, t-top panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in new condition. The wheels are shiny new and the Yokohama tires have almost new tread. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Barely ever had H2O on it and wiped only with duster cloths. On the inside, the Red interior still looks, feels and smells new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the flooring still holds the orig. mats from 83. The door panels, t-top bags, t-top inserts, dash ( no cracks ), center console, faceplates, etc. are stock orig. and all of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release. The orig. stereo / speakers sound perfect. Sexy voice warning does not miss a word. The spare, tools, jack, inflator canister, bolts are still in place ( see pic ). Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a near new car should. The engine compartment is stock and all of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, coolant, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The tranny shifts softly and it performs on all levels. The Turbo spools out just like it did from day 1. It has never been driven hard. The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions are on point. Voice warning is crisp and clear. You will get more looks and thumbs up than a car worth 2 or 3 times the money, trust me.
