For a ZX purist, it is definitely a great piece of history. All systems on point and function as a near new car should. The Orig. Jade Gray metallic paint is still like it was in 83. It was Rust coated when new, so no corrosion on the top or underside. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, emblems, stickers, roof panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in perfect condition. The wheels are clean and the tires have almost new tread - I still have the orig. BFG's stored that are dated from 1982 that will go with sale if wanted. It was also ordered with the DATSUN mud flaps and stripe package. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. No automatic car washes and cared for by hand. On the inside, the Gray leather / Black interior still looks, feels and smells new. As you can see in the pics, the seats do not have a mark, have always been covered and the flooring holds the orig. mats from 83. The door panels, t-top bags, t-top inserts, dash ( no cracks ), orig. headliner w/ no sag, center console, faceplates, etc. are stock orig. and all of the interior buttons / switches - digital dash, power windows, door locks, pwr. antenna, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, and even the clock keeps perfect time. For Sale: 1982 Nissan 280ZX. This rare car runs well and has only 67,884 original miles. Clean title and tags good through September 2015. The car is original except for the stereo. It has leather and suede seats, inline 6 engine, T-tops, tan and brown interior, power steering, cruise control, 5 speed manual transmission, automatic AC and many other features. The 145 hp engine is original and strong. Clutch replaced, newer tires and coolant changed. This is a perfect restorable project car. I have a 1982 280zx available for sale. The body of this S130 Z is in very good condition, with very little rust.Clean/Clear/Green Title, ready for transfer.The car runs great, has around 120k on the motor, and the same on the 5 speed transmissionThe vehicle also comes with a refurbished Turbo Transmission with zero miles on the rebuild, with a Borg Warner T-5 turbo transmission.The car also has a new power steering rack, water pump, thermostat, tires, around 4000 miles left on the current oil change, right after an engine flush was preformed with BG 109, and BG MOA was added after the oil change.The car does need new carpet in the front. The heater control valve started leaking, which is also the cause for the need of new carpet. The A/C still works very well. The vehicle also comes with a dash cover. I attempted to fill in the cracks in the dash, sand down the filler, and painted the dash, and as soon as it was ready to go in, when I went to pick the dashboard up to re-install it, the dash immediately cracked again. I also have around $300 in extra parts. Including two spare door windows, for the driver and passenger side, as well as an additional rear-hatch glass. The hatch needs new struts, priced out at $30 The vehicle could use new struts and springs, but the suspension works just fine the way it is. The tag is up to date, the registration has since been renewed. This is a striaght-6 engine with a manual transmission. This car came with factory air, but it needs an evaporator. It was recently in an accident and needs body work. The interior needs restoration. It is all original and definitely shows its age. So, if you are looking for a great drive and have the time to restore it to it's full potential, this may be the perfect car for you. If I had the time, I would restore it, but then I would be asking $12,900 for it. So grab it before I put any more work into restoring it.
