1989 NISSAN 180SX - RB25DE Swap (R34 skyline engine) This BEAUTIFUL 180sx has been legally imported from Japan to the United States, and is available to be purchased! This particular model has had a 2.5L Inline 6 engine swapped into it from an R34 Skyline. It is the naturally aspirated version. It is in outstanding shape, and has SUPER LOW MILES. This is the Japanese version of the USDM 240SX. It Is right-hand steering. This particular car has only 5,300 KM On the odometer, which is roughly under 3,300 Miles. We can not guarantee the accuracy of this though, and it is possible that the odometer was changed when the engine was replaced. It is mechanically FLAWLESS and the interior is fairly clean as well! The Right seat does show some wear however, and the dashboard has some cracks from old age. It has a lovely BLITZ exhaust system that gives it a nice tone, and a aftermarket air intake. READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ME. This vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out and has been tastefully modded with brand name aftermarket parts and BRAND NEW NOS OEM NISSAN PARTS (NOS = New Old Stock). I feel as if my asking price is more than fair considering there are two other 240sx Convertible's for sale, one is $6K and doesn't run and the other one is around the same and they are nowhere near as clean as my car. I am selling my 1996 Nissan 240SX. I have owned this car for 5 years and it has been my daily driver. I bought it while I was living in Fort Lauderdale, FL and now I live closer to home in Pittsburgh, PA. The VIN listed is not the correct number because the car has a rebuilt title from Florida. The correct VIN is 0000000000MA29281 and eBay would not accept this. This is how Florida lists their rebuilt VINs and I had no problem in either state getting it registered, inspected and insured. I bought a truck about a year ago and have been driving that as my daily driver instead. I was planning on keeping this car to build up, but found a nice RX7 instead. Since I'm not driving it, both the emissions and inspection expired June 2014. I have not tried to get the car inspected or test emissions since I had no need to drive it. As I said before, the car runs great and is very clean. It is almost all stock because it was my daily and the owner before me touched nothing except maintenance parts. The only major issue on the car is rust on the underside. It doesn't look any worse than it did when I bought it, but it is still there and needs to be addressed. I took pictures from underneath the car so the areas can be seen. It passed PA inspection in June 2013, expiring 2014 so I assume it can't be that bad. Once again, I do not drive the car anymore so there was no need for me to inspect it and have it looked at or repaired. Thanks for visiting, this car has been my baby for 11 years. This is quite possibly the cleanest 95+ S14 240SX for sale right now. I am the 2nd owner, it is rarely driven (PA emissions exempt because I drive less than 5k miles a year in it for the past 5 years). It has been maintained very well, and last year I restored the exterior with fresh matte black paint. This car has never been put on a track or drifted. This is an OBO sale, make an offer, but low-ballers will be ignored. Don't even try mentioning blue book, these cars are now ULTRA rare and this is a great example of a clean running & driving car. I am located west of Philadelphia in the suburbs, if you want to see the car in person we can arrange it if you are qualified. The Car: It is a 1995 240sx SE, with just shy of 166k miles on it (but hardly shows it), it has the fog lights, rear spoiler, front lip all original. The wheels are the factory 16" 5-lug in great condition. It is a 5-speed and all the gears work perfectly, the clutch was replaced about 25k miles ago and is grips very well. Only premium fuel has EVER been used, and no octain boosters or "performance aditives" ever used. Tasteful modifications: high-flow headers, custom hi-flow catalytic converter, 3" cat back with dual tips (it sounds badass, especially downshifts), new 7" touch screen double din GPS head unit (GPS antenna was not installed but is in the glove box also have all the parts to add a rear back-up camera which I will include), 6.5" Infinity Reference speakers at all four spots, new shift knob, I also replaced the shocks and struts with performance products. Reason for selling: I am 6'6" and built so it’s always been a squeeze getting in. 3 months ago I fell and now have significant back and knee injuries and can no longer enjoy this car (it is painful for me to drive). I want someone to own it that understands the beauty of this car, and will care for her. Mechanically: There is nothing wrong with the car, it runs and drives great! Last year I did a complete tune-up with performance: plugs, wires, and rotor. Shortly after buying it I took out the noisy and annoying fan (the one that sounded like a truck) and put in a dual Flexalite system. Two years ago I had the engine looked over and the timing chain adjusted (the mechanic said it did not need to be replaced), new water pump, and some preventive seals replaced. I did remove the A/C system shortly after purchasing it because I thought it would be faster, it is, but now it does not have a/c, but honestly with window tint it does not get all that hot. The breaks were replaced about 8k miles ago, the front tires were replaced 5k miles ago. The EGR systems was removed and plugged when the header was installed. Cosmetically: Last year I restored the car and took care of some surface rust, and put a fresh coat of matte black paint on. There is one small dent next to the rear driver turn signal, and the paint is chipping in a few places (I don’t think the painter did enough prep, but an easy pasti-dip would look great). There is one small rust spot under the driver’s door on the rocker panel, it is barely noticeable. The first owner added the sunroof after purchasing, and it always had issues, so I just sealed it shut (I hate sunroofs anyway, and it looks stupid open). The wheels are original and I have them dipped in black, so you can peel it off if you like. The tires are upgraded from the stock 205/215 front/rear to high-performance all seasons in a 225 width all around. Interior: The interior is in fantastic condition, I just shampooed the carpets and they came out very well, I am extremely anal about keeping this car clean and immediately taking care of any spill so it shows in the pictures how well kept it is for a 20 year old car. I just re-did the headliner. The only thing missing on the interior is the ash-tray (I threw it away by accident last month when putting the new head unit in), and the carpeting in the trunk.
