Let me start off saying this is not your typical 240sx. This is not a project car. This is not a car that was slapped together and needs to be tuned. This car is turn key and ready to be driven. There is over $20k in parts put into this car and at least $10k worth of labor. No ebay stuff. All name brand Japanese parts. It's been very reliable to me since the time I acquired it back in 2009. Oh yeah and it's tuned to 500hp. Some history on the car. This is an original California car from 1989-2009. This car was owned, built and tuned by Steve Shadows. This was his personal car and he only put in the best of the best into it. If you do not know who he is, he is a very well knows EMS tuner in the Nissan community and especially known for tuning SR20 and RB engines with several different EMS systems. You can do an internet search and see his business page shadowerks.com and facebook as well as zilvia. The car was transported to NJ in 2009. It's never been driven in the winter or in the snow. There is no rot on this car. Every panel is solid. I've owned several 240's and I know it's impossible to find a 240sx that is rust free on the east coast. I've also seen the carfax for this car and it's never been in a accident. Here are the details on the car. Body 1989 240sx hatchback (perfect shell for the track) No rust No sunroof Manual windows VIS carbon fiber hood GT Fabrications carbon fiber hatch LS automotive lexan rear window Oem Silvia front end parts bumper and metal fenders Interior weight reduction (no rear seat or trunk paneling) Car weights around 2350 pounds! The car can be even lighter, it still has a lot of the interior and the sound deadening material has not been removed Engine SR20DET Red Top S13 GT3076R turbo Greddy Racing Front Mount Intercooler PWR Racing Solid 44 MM Valve Blow Off Valve Greddy Intake Manifold Modified for Q45 Throttle Body SARD 850CC Flow Tested and Bench Rated Side Feed Injectors New Oem Nissan coil packs installed in 06 New Oem Oil pump and updated oil pick up 06 New Oem Timing Chain and guides 06 New Rocker Arm stoppers New Hydraulic lifters 06 Head has 5 angle racing valve job Brian Crower titanium spring retainers Peak Performance racing valve springs HKS 264 Step 2 Race Camshafts (intake and exhaust) Peak Boost top mount turbo manifold Peak Boost stainless dump pipe Tial 38/40 MM Wastegate Peak Boost customize down pipe with flex section Circuit Sports 3” exhaust Stock Pistons and Rods, re-installed and checked in 06 with new rings/bearings/etc. Greddy Oil Pan Blitz dual solenoid boost controller 4”Aluminum turbo intake with K&N filter PWR two pass racing radiator Greddy swirl pot Nismo thermostat Nissan water pump 07 Electric fan Car will rev to 7900 RPMS thanks to 0.00 Perfect Re-Shim and parts balancing upon engine rebuild in 2006. Map I have on this car was tuned with about 100 hours of dyno time combined, map is good up to 25 PSI of boost, you just need to add some C16, turn up the Blitz Dual BC and GO! Trans/Clutch ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate ACT Extreme Clutch 6 Puck Metallic ACT 10.5 LB Light Weight Flywheel Suspension (car has power steering) KTS coilovers with camber plates Battle Version rear upper control arms ATS Carbon 1.5 way racing LSD in Skyline pumpkin z32 30mm aluminum from calipers (recently rebuilt) z32 brake master cylinder Brembo drilled slotted rotors and hawk pads SLP outer tie rods with z32 inner tie rods SLP front tension rods Enkie 17x8 lightweight wheels 255/40/17 R 235/40/17 F All the fluids in the car were just changed. Redline mt90 in the transmission, Neo gear oil in the rear differential. Castrol synthetic10-30 in the motor. The brake pads have about 85% pad life in the front and rear as well as fresh brake fluid. New tires up front and the rears are worn but still have some life left. A very extensive list but I wanted to include as much info as possible. I have owned the car for the past 6 years and have only driven it in the summer. I drive it for maybe 1,000 +/- miles out of the year. I only use 93 octane gas and have never turned up the boost. The car is currently running 15 psi. It should be right around 400hp at that boost. That's the way it was set when I got the car and I never needed to turn it up. The car is scary fast the way it is. If the tires aren't warmed up it will break traction in all gears when boost kicks in. Running higher boost would be even less traction. I never tracked the car to see what it can do in a quarter mile but Steve stated it would run 11's and even 10's at high boost. I've only used the car for spirited driving, going to car meets and I took it to 2-3 club loose events. I obviously don't use the car enough and its time to move on. I also want to make this clear. This car can be driven on the street without a problem but it is built for a track. It's fast, light and can get loud when you get on it. It doesn't have the luxury of air conditioning, heat, radio or rear seats for passengers. I know people who will daily there cars like this but its not for everyone and definitely not everyday for me. I am asking $10,800 for the car. You will not be able to build another car like this for the price. This is an absolute bargain with the amount of time and money put in. I am in no rush to sell but I don't plan to keep it forever either.
