I am selling my 97 Nissan 200sx SE-R. This a very fun and capable car I have roughly 15,000.00 in performance modifications done. The engine was built with the intent on turboing the car but never got around to installing the turbo. The car runs and drives dependably but I'm affaid I have to sell, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and couldnt take the car with me. The cylinder head was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled with the following components: -competition 3 angle valve job with 0.040" valve seats -Valve job performed on a Serdi machine -cylinder head ported and flow tested on a SuperFlow 600 flow bench using Audie Technology digital interface -exhaust valve guides replaced with manganese bronze and honed to spec -all 16 valves reground using Kwikway valve grinding machine -cylinder head deck milled to ensure flatness(0.010" deckmill) -valve shims ground to fit Tomei solid lifters -fwd sr20de valve cover powder-coated black with breather baffles removed and rear breather tube plugged off -HKS adjustable camshaft gears -Greddy rocker arm stoppers -Tomei solid lifter -Peak Performance race spec valve springs -oem valve stem seals -HKS 272 step 3 intake camshaft(228 degrees at 0.050" lift, 12.6mm lift) -Nismo 280 exhaust camshaft(224 degrees at 0.050" lift, 12.6mm lift), this is an extremely rare camshaft. it was briefly made and I had to buy it directly from a distributor in Japan. -FWD Cometic 0.040" MLS head gasket -Nissan Pulsar GTI-R individual throttle bodies -Cutsom made intake plenum -Profab insulating intake manifold spacer gasket - Nissan Pulsar GTI-R 444cc injectors -IAT Sensor -Wired up for map sensor (planned to boost it the spring) -AEM Series 2 stand alone ecu -Greddy Front&Rear sway bars -Tokiko Blue struts -TIEN lowering springs -Full custom 3'' exhaust (done by Lou's Custom Exhaust) -Custom intake manifold (done by T&M Performance) -Custom cold air intake (done by Lou's Custom Exhaust) There are a lot more modifications but this list is just off the top of my head I also have a rwd race plenum for the individual throttle boddies. I had a 240sx that this build was going to go into but I went a different route. Now the cons: -Rust on the rear quarter needs some attention -I put a new factory front end on the car which is primed black the car needs to be painted. -Needs a battery I'm asking 5000.00 no low ball offers there is a lot of time and money into this car serious inquiries only

I've had this car for almost 4 years and it has been swapped the entire time. I got another car so this one needs to go. Car has just short of 143k on it, so if the guy I got the motor from is to be believed then that means the engine has about 88k on it. It's running a JWT ECU with stock VE injectors and an N60 MAF. The SR20VE is similar to the stock engine except it has Nissan's version of variable valve timing. It's rated at 187 hp and 145 ft-lbs. Car comes with eBay header (new, not installed), Programmable MSD window switch (not installed) and a full set of Brembo blank rotors. Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting too. The engine runs well, doesn't smoke or burn any oil. I installed it myself in January of 2011. I never got around to installing the window switch because I just daily drive it and kind of lost interest after getting it put together. The bad:- There is some rust on the rear passenger quarter, and the front edge of the hood is pretty rusty. I assume this was a northern car at some point.- AC compressor is toast, the bearing was getting loud so I have a belt on just the alternator (which is not very well fitted)- Car occasionally makes a grinding noise when turning, not sure what it is- Clear coat is peeling- Airbag light is flashing- Check engine light due to rear O2 not being installed. The car has had a new exhaust put on at some point and they didn't put in a port for the rear O2 sensor for some great reason- Odometer/speedo can be a little wonky. They work 90% of the time, but occasionally the speedo will take a minute to kick in.- Car will need new tires very soon- I had to get a junkyard rear bumper that has a J spraypainted on it The car isn't perfect, but with some work it would probably be a lot of fun. I just don't have the time or inclination to mess with it.
