I am selling my 1955 Nash Rambler, straight six, automatic 4 speed, 2 door. New interior and original color new paint 2 years ago. The grille was powder coated white to match the roof. The brakes were redone a few years back, along with the generator. Very cool looking car, not too small, and not too big. I can help with shipping from Detroit, or picking up.

FELLOW EBAYERS I AM SO EXCITED TO OFFER A PART OF HISTORY. PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A 75 YEAR OLD MAN WHO HAD THIS CAR OVER 25 YEARS. THE GUY IS VERY ILL AND COULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE. I WAS TOLD THAT BEFORE THE CAR WAS PARKED IT RAN, BUT THE CAR WAS SPUTTERING SO THE OWNER BOUGHT A NEW GAS TANK, BUT NEVER INSTALLED IT SO THE CAR COMES WITH A EXTRA GAS TANK. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN STARTED IN 10 YEARS I WAS TOLD. I MAY GET A MECHANIC TO SEE IF HE CAN GET IT RUNNING IF SO THE PRICE WILL MORE THAN LIKELY CHANGE. WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE VEHICLE YOU WILL RECEIVE A CLEAN TITLE FROM THE DMV. THE METAL PLATE ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR SAYS AMERICAN MOTORS CORPORATION DETROIT MICHIGAN BODY#44281, MODEL#6005-1, TRIM#51, AND PAINT#94-4 THEN IT HAS THE NUMBERS 20111 NEXT TO IT. THE SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROW IS MISSING. THERE IS RUST ON THE BODY WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE HOLES, BUT I KNOW SOMEONE OUT THERE WILL BRING IT BACK TO IT'S GLORY. THE ENGINE IS THE ORIGINAL, BUT I NOTICED THAT THE AIR FILTER IS MISSING FROM THE TOP. A COUPLE OF THE TALE LIGHTS ARE BROKEN, BUT NO DENTS ON THE BODY. PREVIOUS OWNER STATED TO ME THAT HE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THE ENGINE OR THE TRANSMISSION. THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS AND I WANT TO BE CLEAR THAT THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT. CAR WAS NOT STARTED. YOU WILL NEED TO TOW THE CAR. THE CAR COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL HUB CAPS. THE CAR HAS ALL OF IT'S CHROME PARTS. THE CHROME ON THE REAR BUMPER IS PEELING OFF REALLY BAD. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY $500.00 UP FRONT AT THE CLOSE OF THE SALE AND THE REMAINDER WITHIN 72 HOURS VIA PAYPAL. CAR CAN BE STORED UP TO 30 DAYS AT NO CHARGE TO YOU FROM THE DATE OF SALE, BUT IF YOU FAIL TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE AFTER 30 DAYS YOU WILL BE CHARGED $65.00 A MONTH UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS PICKED UP. PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING THE VEHICLE OR PICKING IT UP. PLEASE LET ME KNOW A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME WHEN YOU WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF THE VEICLE. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IS THE BEST TIME TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE FROM ME.

[email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1959 Nash Rambler American Frame Up Built Rambler American Wagon 347 V8 C4 Heidts Power Discs Vintage A/C Year: 1959 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: White Mileage: 3805 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 347 V8 Interior color: Red Vehicle Info Until recently, many people believed America couldn't build a decent small car. But, like most anti-Detroit rhetoric, that mindset was perpetuated by folks who really didn't know what they were talking about. As early as 1950, AMC president George Mason believed small cars had a real future on U.S. roadways. And, when the recession hit in 1958, the company's management decided it would be an ideal time to perfect their Rambler American series. Fast forward 56 years and this professionally restored resto-mod is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll down an assembly line. Thanks to its remarkable combination of Ford power and simplistic style, the car sits at the pinnacle of unique. And, if you're a cultured enthusiast who's looking for exclusive, historically significant iron, it's the chrome-clad masterpiece of your dreams! Loosely based on Nash Motor's Nash Rambler, the Rambler American was introduced as an entry point to the brand's more profitable senior models. The GM PPG White example you see here is a rust-free California car that was stripped all the way to bare metal during a professional restoration that was conducted by CAM Auto Creations of Phoenix, Arizona. Its classy, curvaceous body reflects a smooth two-stage finish that exhibits minimal signs of wear and no major defects. $5K worth of re-chromed and polished trim looks every bit as good as the day it left the showroom. And, despite what some might call awkward proportions, this graceful classic is both striking and handsome! As a vintage car connoisseur, you simply can't go wrong with '50s-era steel. Take a look at this gorgeous wagon and you'll see detailing that walks a fine aesthetic line between the hand-crafted feel of its '40s ancestors and the radical, sometimes cheeky appearance of its '60s offspring. At the front of the car, an American-exclusive grille centers a racy "R" emblem between visored headlamps, small parking lights and a wraparound bumper that's complete with modern driving lamps. At the sides of that grille, a pinstriped fuselage flows through classy "American" scripts, unique door handles and a chrome, "R" branded fuel filler. At the top of that fuselage, a curved windshield and fresh greenhouse back a cool hood fin, a standard mirror and straight stainless frames. And behind that greenhouse, a "Rambler" branded tailgate anchors chrome hatch hardware between inverted tail lights, a second wraparound bumper and large, stainless exhaust tips. Toss this classic's domed hood and you'll find 347 cubic inches of stout Ford V8 that produces roughly 250 horsepower. At the top of that bright orange mill, a polished air cleaner marries wind with fuel supplied by a small Motorcraft carburetor. That air/fuel mixture makes its way from a cast iron intake to cast iron heads, which hide under attractive, polished valve covers. When those heads flood the cylinders, a Flame-Thrower coil and proven Painless wiring sequence fire through a traditional points distributor and 7mm High Temperature Conductive Silicone Core cables. As combustion is sparked, resultant gases are jettisoned through compact, cast iron exhaust manifolds. And that combustion's cooling is provided by a beefy aluminum radiator, which stores water in front of large-diameter puller fans and a March serpentine system. As with any expertly built custom, the car's clean engine bay is fully detailed and ready for show. And it all adds up to one super sweet small block that looks right at home centered between a fully finished hood and body-matched fenders. Naturally, this American's fully-finished body rides on a fully-restored chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The smooth small block torques a tough C4 3-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 8-inch. That proven drivetrain pushes a 1.5-inch lowered suspension, which tracks a high quality Heidts Mustang II front-half with custom leaf springs. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted discs and drums. At the center of the floor, 2.5-inch true-dual exhaust breathes through aluminized pipes and throaty Magnaflow mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, painted steelies turn 215/70R15 BF Goodrich Silvertown whitewalls around polished trim rings and red-detailed center caps. And everything, from the car's hidden brake booster to its undercoated floors is well-planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! The spectacular cockpits in '50s-era Detroit iron need no introduction, but here goes. Flip this Rambler's bright chrome handles and you'll find a classy, Dynamat-lined interior that stays completely true to the car's tasteful detailing. Rebuilt bench seats are all-day comfortable and feature supple hides that fit well and feel great. Beneath those seats, soft carpet frames billet foot pedals next to clean kick panels and textured sills. At the edges of that carpet, flawless door skins anchor small black armrests between body-matched toppers and correct chrome hardware. At the front of those skins, a curved dash is layered in glossy paint, correct telemetry and controls for Vintage Air conditioning. Above that dash, a correct headliner frames controls for Custom Autosound acoustics. The driver spins a black steering wheel around a chrome horn ring, an "R" branded centerpiece and a polished gear selector. And passengers store their essentials in a freshly finished cargo hold that features era-correct luggage. Combining a high quality restoration with acute attention to detail, this incredible wagon is some of the best metal your money can buy! Add in the car's smooth drivetrain and instant 'wow' factor, and it's virtually guaranteed to win both trophies and fans. We all know it's becoming increasingly tough to find unique, highly exclusive classics. Don't miss your chance to own one of the coolest Ramblers ever restored!
