Hear it Run: youtu.be/mdxjNnsFq-wAdditional Pictures: drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1YhsIynzSV0X1NuYXIxM3hMSlE&usp=sharing Runs and drives great. The car has never been restored but it has been worked on and refurbished over the years to keep it in good drivable condition. Some work that appears to have been done to it includes: new rear wheel cylinders, new wiring (still has 6V system), some paint and body work, metal has been added to some weak areas in the floor, cleaned up/painted engine bay. Overall it is a solid car, frame looks good, trunk is solid. It has the original engine and transmission, I am not sure how original the interior is or if it was possibly updated many years ago. All work was done prior to me getting the car and I am just reporting what I see. It starts right up and idles nicely, and shift out through all gears as it should. It is missing the trunk lock and a couple pieces of trim under the front doors. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Terms: Buyers, please submit $250 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of purchase. Full payment is due within 7 days of purchase, regardless of when you plan to pick it up. What I have is a 1937 nash rat rod built by Sloan customs, It has a Camaro sub frame tied into the original frame, Camaro rear end with all new steering and suspension parts. The car has been lowered as low as it can go and sits very nice. The motor is a fresh built 307 with a 700r4 four speed automatic Trans. This car gets great gas milage!! The interior has s10 seats up front with the original rear seat that was recovered. Car was converted to power steering and disk brakes that makes for a nice cruiser. The floors are solid, new metal was welded to fit the transmission, It brings in lots of attention anywhere and everywhere it goes. As listed brakes stop fine but feel a little spongy to me, few rust spots in trunk but floors are solid, small rust spot area at back driver side door, has windshield, crack in windshield, and back side glass. But that's about it, a few very minor things that to some it's a rat rod and that's the way they want it and to others it's an art and they can do it the way they want it. Starts up instantly and runs and drives great. If you like attention I promise you it draws attention, people stop there cars to come up and see it, people driving honk and give thumbs up its an awesome cool car but I want something different like a trans am or corvette that's why I want to sell so I can go buy one.

I am selling my 1955 Nash Rambler, straight six, automatic 4 speed, 2 door. New interior and original color new paint 2 years ago. The grille was powder coated white to match the roof. The brakes were redone a few years back, along with the generator. Very cool looking car, not too small, and not too big. I can help with shipping from Detroit, or picking up.

1939 Nash Lafayette that runs, drives and stops. This was a southern Nevada desert car and still titled as such with no rust at all. Few dents here and there, but extremely solid. Front floor board was replaced with sheet tin at some time in the past (drilled & riveted). Nice patina (prep it and clear coat ?) Runs great. No smoke as engine was rebuilt in recent past. Transmission works in all forward and reverse gears. I rebuilt the carburetor, flushed fuel lines, removed fuel tank, drained, repaired and sealed Brand new Coker tires and tubes, including spare... all balanced Brakes new, all electrical wiring (cloth wrapped like original) and new 6V battery Comes with aluminum visor and extra parts (boxes in back seat) Lafayette's had the sleeping bed option. This does have the rear door window screens in place, which would indicate that option. I do not have the two optional bagged mattresses. Missing a few items here and there... door sill plates & radiator to firewall support rods (probably removed when rebuilding engine and not reinstalled) All manual windows and cowl vent function as they should Drive and enjoy as is or restore. Please review my feedback rating and bid with confidence.
