It can be driven but is losing brake fluid and has to be topped off daily for the car to be driven. The brakes and the Transmission Run off of the same fluid with this vehicle.Don't bother asking if I will take $700, $900 or $1200. The tires and steering wheel I installed are worth $500 alone. The intake Air Box and exhaust headers another $200 easy... The seats and harness that strap you in another $150 easy... Not to mention the Amplifier and Subwoofer all included with the vehicleWhen downshifting from 3rd to 2nd it shifts sloppy almost like you have to force it into gear... Also when you downshift into 1st you have to come to a complete stop... Don't know much about these cars and bought it in 2014 with the intent to resell and at this point trying to cut losses... Would have sold already for $2000+ if not for the issue with the transmission... Drives great when upshifting no issues at all! Hello! I am currently trying to sell my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer! It is a 5 speed MANUAL transmission and it is in FANTASTIC CONDITION and has only been taken in to get fixed one time due to a recall by Mitsubishi. This has been a tremendously reliable vehicle and still has a TON of miles left in the tank. The condition of the car is very good, Normal wear and tear for the inside as well as the outside, and I also just had the tires replaced last fall (2014) as well as the rear brakes and routers at the same time. I believe I was the 2nd owner of this vehicle, I bought it when it had 22,000 miles on it and I have driven it to 128,500 so far. ALL of these miles are highway miles as well as I travel nothing but highways to get to work and back. Routine maintenance like oil changes was ALWAYS kept up on as well. If you are lucky enough to purchase this vehicle from me, I will require a CASHIERS CHECK AS THE ONLY FORM OF PAYMENT. Other than that, if you have any questions about the car please do not hesitate to ask! Thank you! Also, just want to let you all know that I still owe my bank $5,500 for this car, which would be paid back to the bank immediately when you purchase this vehicle.
